"You're weirded out."i mutter making alec nod looking at magnus.

magnus hasnt said anything for the past couple of minuets,

"Mmm. Who says I'm weirded out?" magnus questions looking at us a small smile on his face.

"You wanna know why we haven't been in a relationship?" alec says looking at magnus.

"i know exactly why gracie wasnt, it was not in her nature"

"what do you mean?" i question looking at magnus confused.

"jocelyn let me keep an eye on you gracie as you grew, you were too focused on ebing little and enjoying yourself, you never got out much so dating wasnt something you were ever inteserted in."magnus explains smiling at me making me nod.

its true.

its not taht i didnt think about it actually

it just wasnt on the top of my list.

 i was perfectly happy, living life with my mom being little whenever i wanted being cared for by my mom.

"but you alexander....why?" magnus questions looking towards alec making alec sigh.

"Because of this. 'Cause... I didn't wanna feel like there was something wrong with me"alec stutters making me look towards him with sad eyes."because I grew up in the Institute, because... I always knew I couldn't have what I wanted... until you came along."alec rants looking betweenthe two of us making me smile at the end.

" Nothing's wrong with you. Far from it." i say grabbing his hand smiling at him."But you're so... innocent.the both of you" magnus speaks looking ebtween us making me blush and look away.

"In some ways, but... I don't want you to treat me any different." alec says looking at magnus shaking his head.

"But you are different. And it's a good thing." magnus soeaks reaching across the tbale touching mine and alecs hands.

"What about you? I mean, you must have had plenty of exes."alec says shrugging looking at magnus making me nod.

"What do you mean?"magnus questions looking away from us making me giggle.

"You know what I mean. "alec replies back smiling.

"Alexander, look, I've lived for centuries. I've been with men, women, Seelies, warlocks, vampires... a djinn or two." magnus speaks shrugging not looking at either  of us.

"How many? " i questuons looking at him making magnus glance at me with wide eyes.

"How many?" magnus questions repeating the question back to me.

" It's not a trick question. " alec says shaking his head not looking at magnus ."You can round down if you want."alec says shurgging.

" Okay. If you wanna know, I'll tell you. Seventeen." magnus speaks amking both me and alec look towards him with wide eyes.

"Seventeen. That... that's..." alec says with a small smile on his face before we both realise magnus isnt smiling.

"Seventeen... hundred?"alec questions but magnus doeesnt reply.

" Seventeen thousand?!" i question again making magnus shale his head.

" It was all in the past.Ancient history."magnus speaks chcukiling shaking his head.

me and alec both look at each other with wide eyes before looking away completely bewildered.

"But right now I'm here. With you." magnus speaks looking at me and alec making alec nod.

"Yeah, us and... 17,000 other memories."alec mutters looking at his drink infront of him.

"Look... I am who I am. And you are who you are. And all the magic in the world can't change that. So... let's just try to make the best of it."magnus speaks sighing heavily looking at me and alec.

"Sure."alec replies back smiling slightly making them both look at me.

"okay dokie" i mutter picking up my drink taking a sip.

we decided to leave after that awakard converstaion, all three of us decided to go for a walk threw the city.

it seemed right.

"For a guy so used to Portals, I have to admit, nothing beats a late night stroll through the city."magnus speaks opening his front door letting alec in.

magnus is acrryng me on his hip, im extremely tired.

"Yeah. Gives you time to think."alec speaks as we walk into magnus living room.

agnus sits me doen on the sofa clicking his fingers making a blacket and pacifer appear. he pushes it into my mouth ad lays the balnket over me.

" You must have thought a lot. "magnus speaks tucking me in under the blacnket on the sofa glancing at alec who has sat on the end of the sofa."You barely said a word the whole way home."magnus mutters brushing my hair outnof my face speaking to alec as i look at magnus tiredly.

"Magnus... Do you think... maybe we're too.."alec mutters making magnus look over at him and sigh.

"different?" magnus questions looking over his shoulder at alec.

magnus sighs and sits downon the sofa next to me making me whine and crawl onto his lap cuddiling into him.

"Yeah."alec whispers leaning over brushing my hair out of my face as i suck on the paci looking at him.

"We're from totally different worlds.magnus speaks shrugging with me on his lap looking at alec.

"Different centuries." alec replies back quietly.

"Look,i... i should go."alec says pushing himself to stand up akwardly.

"gracie can remain, ill take her home in the morning"magnus speaks to alec making alec nod noticing the tiredness in my eyes as they flutter.

he nods and leans down kissing my head making me whine and reach out for him only for him to just sadly look at me before going to walk out.

"magnus ...want alec" i whine around my paci making magnus tand up and lay my head over his shoulder bouncing me walking around as i whimper.

"Look, I don't care how many people you've been with."alec says suddnely walking back into the roomcoming to stand infront of me and magnus.

"I don't care how many people you haven't been with." magnus replies back looking at alec."neither of you" magnus says shifting me on his hip as he looks at me.

alec straes intentally at magnus for a moment before he takes a quickl step forwards pressing his lips to magnus making me instantly snap out of little space looking at them as they kiss.

they both pull away slowly and alec instantly look at me making me smile before he leaves in and presses our lips together.

moments after pulling away i slowly open my eyes and magnus presses our lips togther slowly sliding me down from his hip to stand leaning aginst him as he presses me against him

"wow" i mutter pulling away looking between them.

"I hear that relationships, they, um... take effort." alec mutters looking at us making magnus smile slightly.

"I'm all for effort."magnus replies back quietly smiling at alec and me.

"me too...maybe effort sounds like a lot of effort" i mutter making them both laugh before they both lean in again going to press there lips aginst each others.

when suddnely the front door opens making us all turn to look towards it seen jace walking in carrying a bag.

"Sorry for killing the mood." jace speaks walking in making alec pull away from me and magnus, as magnus pulls me tighter against him."You got a spare room?"jace questions looking at magnus making everyone stare at him confused.
