"What did we miss?"alec asks as we come to stand next to izzy.

me and clary on either side of alec and izzy making her glance at us before she presses on the screem.

"Let's see. The Citadel was breached. Magdalena is dead. Cleophas is missing." izzy tells her making clary sigh.

"Oh, my God.Valentine?" she sighs questioning looking at izzy.

"Who else could it be?"izzy mutters before turing around looking at us."Aldertree's heading to Idris to meet with the Council. " izzy tells alec looking at us making alec nod.

"we'll go check with ops."alec speaks before pulling my hand along.

"do you think everything is going to be okay eventually?" i question alec looking up at him as we walk.

"i dont know gracie....we just have to deal with the issues as they come." alec says before kissing my forehead making me smile.

"i really like magnus." i mutter as we continue to walk.

"me too." alec says making me grin.he glances down at my grin and shakes his head."shush" he says shaking his head at me making me giggle.

after speaking to the ops and standing awardly next to alec the whole time we left the room and searched for izzy.

 i really need to get a hole of this whole shadowhunter missons thingy if i wanna be like alec.

"where have you been?" alec questions walking towards izzy who is stood next to a map of the city."had to speak to the ops alone we've been searching for you." alec says as wecome to stand next to her.

all of her attention is on  the map infront of her.

"What are you doing?"i ask confused watching as she zooms in on the map.

"Uh... Aldertree has me on a special assignment. I'm checking out some rogue vamp dens."she explians sighing loking away from the map.

"Are you okay?" alec questions looking at her and her slightly breathless state,

she doesnt look too good honestly.

"Yeah, I'm fine." she says shrugging it off making me shake my head.

" You don't seem fine. " i say shaking my head frowning at her.

"im...tired..." she says shaking her head sighing looking between me and alec.

"Um, your message said you wanted to talk.Do you have a lead on Cleophas?" izzy questions looking at me and alec.

" No. Not yet." alec says simply leaning on the desk looking at her.

"Then what is it?" she asks confused glancing between me and alec confused.

"It's about Magnus." alec says making me look at him with wide eyes.

how come he hasnt spokne to me about this? 

"Look, um... " alec mutters glancing at me before looking at izzy."How do you know... In your experience, you know, when's the, uh... the right time?"alec says making me look at him with wide eyes.

 i go to speak but he glares at me slightlymaking me blush and look away.

"Oh, my God, are you talking about having sex?"izzy questions smirking .looking bewteen us.

" Can you not discuss our sex life with the entire Institute, please?" i mutter looking around at the people as they walk past.

"Alec, is this your first time with a man? and Your first time ever?" izzy whispers looking at me and alec with wide eyes.

i blush and look away hiding my face in alecs shoulder.

i can tell hes nervous as he wraps an arm around me slightly his hand shaking slightly.

"It all makes sense now. " izzzy speaks shaking her head slighlty looking at him."That's why you didn't want me to meet Jessica Hawkblue." izzy says looking at him a with a small smile.

"who?" i question looking at alec confused.

"Wait, was there ever a Jessica Hawkblue?"izzy questions confused looking at him pouting.

"Are you done?" alec huffs shaking his head.

"Okay." she sighs smiling,

" You,magnus and gracie ... You want to..." izzy trailes off glancing at me.

alec glance at me making me blush and look away slightly nodding making him smile.

" I think so." he mutters before looking back at izzy.

"I don't know. Alec, you care about them i can tell" izzy speaks looking at him."they care about you." izzy tells him making me smile."It's okay. Just don't do what you always do." she explains to him making alec frown.

"And what's that?"alec questions confused.

"Overthink it. Like you're doing now." izzy tells him seriouly.

" No, I don't overthink things. " he speaks looking at her with frowning eyes."Do I?"hw mutters looking between me and her confused.

"Look... If it's what you want, if it makes you happy... ...then go for it." izzy says smiling making me blush.

"come on" alec speaks grabbing my hand making me blush as he pulls me away from izzy,

"how come you didnt ask me about it?" i question as he pulls me with him towards the door.

"i dont know gracie...i just thought getting anothers opion would settle my mind" he speaks nervously as i push the door.

"hey" i say pulling on his hand to stop him from moving.

he sighs and looks  down at me as i grab both of his hands.

"you know i trust both you and magnus, and we care about you" i tell him looking up into his eyes."and it would be my first time too, im just as nervous as you are" i say biting my lip looking away from him.

he chuckles and pull me aaginst him pressing his lips aghinst mine making me smile.
