Gracies pov:

i decided i wasnt gonna sit here anymore thining about what alec had said ad what his parents had said.

i told myself i was gonna help and i cant do that when im little so....it has to stop.

im gonna miss it.

i get up walking out of my room  and going to walk over to the lab but a man walks past grabbing a hold of my arm quickly turning me around making me walk a different way.

i look up seeing magnus there making me frown.

"ummm magnus?" i ask looking at him trying to pull my arm free but he doesnt listen. i huff rolling my eyes as he pulls me threw the insitite until we reach the training room where alec is stood boxing with his shirt off.

my face covers in blush as i look at his back muscles moving.

"your staring."magnus mutters to me making me scoff and look at him who also has his eyes stuck on alec's body.

"so are you." i mutter before shrugging out of his hold walking up the steps making alec turn around and look at me.

he looks at me before he huffs and starts to punch the punching bad.

i smirk and go and sit down on the bench not to far from him.

"taking your anger out? did i piss you off alec?" i ask looking at him smirking.

he looks at me before going to walk over to me but magnus appears and stops him.

i sit there staring at alec's abs until alec calls my name smirking,

"gracie" alec calls a large smirk on my face making me stick my tounge out at him.

alec rolls his eyes and looks at magnus whos face is the same.

"magnus"alec calls confused.

i watch as magnus stares at alec's abs too until she shakes his head and moves his eyes to his face.

"Okay, I'm back."mganus says looking at alec's face this time.

alec walks across the room and over to his shirt taht is next to me so i grab it and hold it away from him.

"shirt now" he practically growls at me making me scoff.

"rude." i mutter handing it to him.

"Oh, you don't have to get dressed up for me." magnus speaks watching him pull his shirt on."Fine. But I liked what I saw."magnus mutters walking over too. 

"i agree." i mutter even though alec can hear both of us.

"I have the preliminary autopsy findings"magnus speaks holding out a clip board to alec.

"Why are you giving this to me?"alec asks taking it from magnus frowning.

"This should go to the head of the Institute."alec says confused.

"And it is."magnus tells him making alec huff.

"I'm not. And I never will be." alec says harshly chucking the bored onto the bench next to me,.

"Magnus, it's like... it's like my whole life... has been a lie."alec speaks making me sit back and look at him.

"Now, everything I've ever known is..."alec speask slightly out of breath still from his work out.

"It's not what you thought."magnus tells him smiling.

"I've done everything for my parents... for the Clave and..."alec says looking back at me before he looks at magnus."I've done everything that they've asked."alec speaks annoyed.
