alec lightwood, the final piece of me, honestly this shadowhunter has been their for me so much. my caregiver and boyfriend, i wouldnt be hear without him. i love him.

standing off to the side of the main room with my phone pressed to my ear,

 14 times ive called magnus in the past 24 hours.

and he's still not called me back.

 he promised me he would always answer. always.....

especially with everyhting thats going recently. he promised.

" he's still not answering." i speak worriedly rolling my eyes i walk into the main room, passing my phone over to alec showing him all the miss calls and texts ive sent magnus.

"im sure he;s okay, gracie."alec speaks nodding.

"he promised me he would answer me alec," i snap back looking at him flashing my eyes, the worry i have for magnus making me lose control slightly.

i see alec look at me and narrow his eyes slightly making me turn away and take a deep breath before sighing.

"im sorry okay...." i mutter looking back up at him making him nod and pull me in for a hug.

" well check up on him later okay? im sure hes fine." alec speaks rubbing my back making me sigh and nod back.

"Azazel's headed south." alec explains to me pulling away making me realise jace stood on the other side of the desk behind us,

" okay," i say nodding my head.

" We just recovered four dead mundanes with his signature M.O"alec continues to speakas he passes my phone backto me making me shove it into my back pokcet.

". OK. Let's go." i say nodding my head before looking over at jace making him nod too.

we all turn to leave suddnely but get stopped by someone voice.

"To catch a greater demon you summoned to the Institute, defying all protocol and common sense?",a voice questions making us all turn around and see the Inquisitor walking towards us making me frown.

"Don't put this all on Jace.we had a part in this, too." i speak getsuring to me and alec making him glance at me nodding.

"Look, if you want to bench your best fighter with a greater demon on the loose, I'm happy to oblige. jace speaks annoyed looking at the women.
