Dante
City of Fox Hollow
March 23, 1971
Inside The Glen Hotel, the lobby was boisterous and staff scurried about settling the needs of their guests.
Dante strode over to the elevator. His jaw clenched tight. What was his father thinking! Vivianne must be behind this. This had her signature written all over it.
"Mr. Rossini!" A woman called out. "Mr. Rossini!"
Dante stopped. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then turned around. He managed a smile as a woman with dark hair and a notepad was approaching.
"Mr. Rossini, I've waited over an hour. Is our interview still on?" She asked.
Dante had no idea what she was talking about.
"Oh, sorry." She laughed, extending out her hand. "Claire Bernett with the Fox Hollow Gazette. We spoke earlier."
"Ms. Bernett, forgive me. I must have forgotten. It's hectic the closer we get to opening day." He replied, still unsure of whether he had scheduled a meeting with her.
"And with the auditions later today, I can imagine. Still I was hoping to at least get a quote about the Rose Murder rumors surrounding the circus." She continued.
Dante looked the reporter over and seized the opportunity. "I'll give you more than a quote, Ms. Bernett. I'll give you an exclusive." He said, leading her into the elevator.
