Bridgett
Bridgett stopped by the theater first. She knew the remaining shows for the circus had been cancelled, but some of the equipment still lay in the back lawn area. The process of packing up had been slow due to the uncertainty of the future that laid ahead. Unsure of whether they should head to another city in light of Mrs. Rossini's interest in selling, they had instead opted to rent a storage unit. Some items were already moved, but a great deal still remained.
She headed to the fence on the side of the building. There was a lock. Checking around her for anyone passing by, the streets were mostly clear. Soon there would be a break in traffic, allowing her roughly forty-five seconds to get inside.
The only problem was a lone figure walking toward her direction. She had no estimate for how long it would take him to reach her and whether it would coincide with the break in traffic. Rather than risk it, she hid in the shadow of the building.
