Bridgett
Outside, Bridgett stepped out of a phone booth. Closing her purse, she saw Lanz smiling. "What?" She asked, amused.
"Nothing. Can't a guy smile at his girl, huh? He said, giving her his elbow. She latched on.
"Of course he can." She replied.
"So what time is the movie?" Lanz asked.
"It starts at one o'clock." Bridgett replied.
"Good. Means we got time to get some lunch first. I'm starvin', how 'bout you?"
"I could eat." She answered and they walked down the street hand in hand.
A moment later, Bridgett was bumped into. A woman in tattered clothing and messy hair excused herself. Bridgett apologized and was about to offer some help, but the woman kept on walking away. She watched her go, not being able to shake the feeling of awakened terror. The woman wasn't anyone she had seen before, but her body raised the threat level nonetheless.
