Bridgett
Bridgett stepped out of the shower, drying her hair with the towel. She had her dinner with Lanz later tonight. Who would she go as? The Megan outfit needed more practice, but she preferred to use someone with a bit more stability. Someone reliable.
Running through the options in her mind, Heather had seemed like a likely choice. Striped, colorful sweater, short mini skirt, black sheer stockings, and black knee length boots. She hadn't used Debra in a while; bell-bottomed jeans, matching jean crop top, platform shoes.
Then again, she was meeting him on the beach. He promised she wouldn't have to trek through mud again, but she still didn't know what to expect. Not having all the details was highly unpleasant and she was frustrated with herself for not asking more about it.
There was nothing she could do about it now. She would need someone versatile, someone she could adjust on the fly if she needed to.
Turning on her twelve inch television set on the news channel, she headed back to the bathroom to finish getting ready. She heard the commercials end and the Fox Hollow News come on, as she lined her eyes with heavy black eyeliner.
"We are live at the Marshall Theater where protestors are outside, voicing their concerns over the lastest murder."
Marshall Theater? Murder? Bridgett stopped applying her eyeliner and listened. Her hand still suspended in the air, staring at her reflection.
"Thanks Conner, I'm here outside the Marshall Theater where late last night a body was found. Sources say that it bore a striking resemblance to what many have been calling the Rose Murders."
Bridgett dropped her eyeliner and walked wide eyed to the television set. I haven't helped Dante with anyone here? Is he doing them alone now? That doesn't seem like him...Vito!
She listened to the rest of the coverage with full attention, absorbing every detail. I'll have to find out who Claire Bernett is. She made a mental note of the name.
In the meantime, she needed to check in with Vito. His job was to stick to the instructions, but if this is him deviating from that, then she would have to get rid of him and find someone who knows how to listen. Hoping that wasn't the case, she picked up the phone. For some reason- hidden in the depths of the unknown- she had liked Vito, which made it a shame should she need to get rid of him. Permanently. One ring. Two rings. Three rings.
