Del La Rosa
Del La Rosa stood outside the station. A kid on a bicycle rode up to him and stopped, leaning back with his legs firm on the pavement. He pulled a newspaper out and handed it to Del La Rosa.
In return he handed the kid some change, along with a small piece of paper that was folded up. The kid rode away and Del La Rosa headed back inside the station. Down the street, out of sight, the kid opened up the note and read it. Then he peddled like hell.
He turned down a street where Uncle Tony was eating a sandwich, leaning up against a taxi. Handing him the note, the kid waited as it was being read. Uncle Tony crumpled the note and reached inside the taxi. He pulled out a yoo-hoo for the kid. "Now scram."
The kid rode off one handed, gulping down the chocolate drink. Uncle Tony tossed his sandwich aside and got into the taxi, driving off.
