Kol and Daniella were walking under the stairs and on their way out. Rebekah passing by them made Kol pause his steps and call for her."Rebekah, I've waited outside for sometime" He started visibly upset. "Where is Matt?"
Rebekah fidgeted nervously, "about that... I changed my mind"
Daniella stared at the exchange with confusion. She wasn't sure what they were talking about, but she knew she had to tell somebody the plan. Elijah being nowhere in sight, Kol was her only option.
Kol was visibly upset, "Do you actually like this boy?"
Before Rebekah could reply, Daniella interrupted their argument, which didn't seem as important considering that their life was on the line.
She pushed her way between the siblings, "We have more important matters to discuss" She hissed under her breath, then her eyes drifted to where Finn was standing. "Like life-or-death kind of important"
Rebekah took the chance and walked away from the two; Kol made a move to follow behind her, but Daniella grabbed her arm. "Kol, you have to come with me"
He seemed dazed for a second but followed her as she pulled him to the balcony. She just hoped she could finally tell him about their mother's plan.
They stood together at the balcony and Daniella started, "Look, I cannot find Elijah anywhere. But your mother is not being ..."
Kol's eyes left her before he started calling Matt's name. She sighed in frustration and complete annoyance. She took the glass of champagne, which he still held in his hand and drank the whole thing.
Better safe than sorry.
She decided if it wasn't possible to tell him about their mother, because Kol had the attention span of a first grade kid, she would try and sabotage her plan.
Kol didn't seem to care about his champagne though. When Matt arrived he gave him a look that Daniella knew screamed danger.
"Good evening, you're Rebekah's friend. We haven't met" Kol started offering his hand to Matt.
They shook hands and Matt introduced himself. Kol started squeezing Matt's hand tightly and Daniella could see that the blonde was in pain.
She tried to interfer, "Kol, let go of his hand". As soon as she had uttered the words, an audible cracking sound was heard.
Matt screamed in agony and Daniella tried to push Kol away from him, yelling, "Dammit Kol, Let him go already!"
Kol let go of Matt; his anger redirected towards Daniella, who, in his own twisted logic, had ruined his fun.
Kol took a step closer to her and she could tell at that moment that he would definitely kill her. Being a complete and utter maniac was the only way for her to describe him.
"You seem to think I care about what you think, darling" He seemed to be giving her a calculating look, then he said, "You're a Redmond with no powers, yet my brother values life, brought you all the way to this sick excuse of a town. I wonder why?"
He kept advancing at her, but with every step he took towards her she took a step back. Her heart was thudding in her chest, and she couldn't help but wonder if her end would be right there and then.
Out of nowhere, Damon rushed in front of her pushing Kol off the balcony and jumping after him. They'd started fighting and it took Daniella a couple of seconds to look at them from the balcony, before holding rushing to them.
