Daniella and Lisa arrived at the gym hall and the party was on full swing. Daniella straightened her dress, and turned to Lisa, "I don't feel so good"
She indeed hadn't been feeling good since the second she entered the school. Something felt off; she was about ready to throw up.
She thought it could be because she hadn't heard from Damon in the past couple of hours.
Lisa huffed, grabbing her by the arm and heading to the dance floor while saying, "you should have some fun"
She gave a hesitant smile but complied. There were so many people, but Lisa and her danced together. They were not exactly the dancing couple of the year, but they did try.
"Twenties dances are sure hard" she said laughing and moving her body with the music.
She felt that very familiar splitting headache before hearing Valkov in her mind. "We're trapped here"
Her movement came to a sudden stop, which worried Lisa who asked her, "What's wrong, Danny?"
Her lip tightened in a thin line, "Give me a second". She was about to go and call Damon. However, she turned only to find him in her face. "Damon?" She gave him a worried look, and the expression on his face told her there was definitely something wrong.
"We have a problem" He said tightly.
She raised an eyebrow, "I figured as much"
"Guys, what's wrong?" Lisa came to stand next to Daniella, drifting her eyes between her friend and Damon.
Damon gave a charming smile, "I'll just have to borrow my girl for a minute"
Lisa, although saddened, she nodded her head hesitantly. Daniella mumbled an apology and followed Damon. "What's going on?"
"We're trapped in the school" Damon started, "Esther had used salt as a binding agent and it's all around the school. We can't leave"
"I'm not sure if we can do something about it" she said with a clenched jaw. "Our body needs rest, something is wrong with us". She took the information, but decided to say nothing. "Who's the witch? Maybe I can talk to her? Is it Klaus doing this?"
He shook his head, "We have to find Bonnie" Daniella only nodded and followed after Damon, leaving the hall and into the school corridors. "Do you think you can help? After yesterday..."
She didn't let him finish, "I will see what we can do" She sounded determined, but Damon felt that fear he knew too well.
He looked at Daniella with doubtful eyes. He wanted to know where Elena is, he wanted to stop whatever shit hole that was about to explode in their faces, but he couldn't afford to lose her.
She had become someone important in his life. From the very beginning Daniella had a certain hold on him. It only took time to realize it, but it had always been there.
Perhaps it had always been her.
"Alaric wasn't using your herbs, the jar was full. And we don't where Elena is" He told her while walking. They reached a classroom, and found Bonnie and Elijah standing together near the window talking and laughing.
Damon raised a questioning eyebrow, "Sorry to interrupt your seven minutes in heaven" at that Daniella hit his arm softly and gave a glare, "But we need help"

Meanwhile, Klaus was calling Rebekah who was not answering her phone. Stefan came from behind him, "We have a problem"
