Damon has been driving for about an hour before coming to a stop. It looked like a small nightclub. In bright red lights the name of the club shone in the darkness of the street. The Ugly Coyote.

Daniella looked at the name for a second longer; it reminded her of a movie she had watched sometime ago

Daniella looked at the name for a second longer; it reminded her of a movie she had watched sometime ago. She turned to Damon with a raised eyebrow, "You're aware I'm barely seventeen, right?"

Damon gave her a ludicrous look,"Seriously?" He held her hand tightly and pulled her behind him amount the crowds in the club.

She knew Damon didn't care, but she also knew that everyone else will care if they were to go inside the club. She had never been anywhere like this before, so she was legitimately nervous.

When they arrived at the bar, they stood closely, reminding Daniella of the events which took place in her room.

They were extremely close. His face was barely an inch away from hers that she could feel his breath on her face. Her eyes closed and his lips touched hers. His hand was still wrapped around her neck when he pulled her closer to him.

It was the shrill ringing of a phone that made me her pull away startled. Damon groaned inwardly, but got the cell out of his pocket to check the caller.

Elena.

The name brought more sombre thoughts than ones he had only a minute ago. He recalled Alaric situation, his brother's addiction, and the questions surrounding the girl in front of him.

He ignored the call, put the cell on silent mode, and glanced at a flustered Daniella with a playful smirk, "Let's go, you'll have the time of your life"

Daniella only nodded and made a show of fixing her necklace in the mirror. Anything to calm her nerves down really.

From the way he had behaved, Daniella knew not to talk about that kiss

From the way he had behaved, Daniella knew not to talk about that kiss. She knew it was just as mistake or a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing.

She shouldn't be bothered.

At least that's what she has been telling herself over and over again. And she wasn't bothered! She enjoyed that kiss, perhaps a tiny and very foolish part of her wished that Damon could possibly have some feelings for her.
