Chapter 24: Surprise Phone Call

Me, Grayson, Melanie, and Ethan were all just hanging out in ny basement when i got a phone call from a private number. I look at Melanie and said "well...answer it!" I picked up my phone and answered it. "H-hello?" I said nervously. "Good afternoon, is this shelly?" the woman said. "Yes...may i aske who's calling" i said. Grayson wanted to listen so i put it on speaker. "Hello Shelly, im the manager of Vidcon and i've just been advised that you will be attending vidcon. You have been invited to go to California to perform" she said. "NO WAY!!!" I said excitedly. "Yes sweetie, congratulations" she said laughing. "Who is gonna be there" i asked. "Well, viners and other youtubers" she said. "When do i leave" i asked. "In two days. Vidcon will take place in California. Have fun!!!" she said. I hung up the phone and hugged grayson. "Congratulations Shelly!!" Ethan said hugging me. This is my first year going. "Thanks, did you get a phone ca-" i was cut off by Grayson, Ethan, and Melanies phone ringing. I knew what the phone call was for. Everyone came running up to me saying "i just got invited!!!" "Congratulations you guys!" I said hugging all of them. "We leave in two days. Our flight leaves at 9:45 AM so we should be at the airport by 9:30 AM" grayson said sitting down. "I have an idea. How about we all have a sleepover in my basement so we all can pack up tomorrow night" i said with a smile. "Sure" the all said in unison. We told our parents right away and they were so excited. The viners included Jake Paul, Logan Paul, George Janko and some other viners. The youtubers include me, melanie, dashie, maxmoefoe, and more. After dinner, we all head downstairs and spend the night. "Im so excited for Vidcon" we all said at the sametime. We laughed and fell asleep. This is gonna be the best day ever!!!
