Chapter 9: Doctors Appointment

After school, gray and i decided to go to a doctor and check up on my our baby. As we arrived there, a woman in the front desk greeted us. "Hello darlings, how may i help you today?" she said with a smile. I looked at grayson and he nodded. "Um...i uh...im pregnant" i said embarrassed. "Oh honey, its ok to be embarrassed. Lots of teenagers ypur age come in all the time" she said holding my hand. We went into a room with a desk, a bed, and a screen. "Hello shelly, im Dr Harper" he said shaking my hand. "Hello Dr Harper. This is grayson....the father" i said pointing to grayson. Grayson shook his hand and the doctor said "what a very firm grip youngman". "Uh, thank you Dr" grayson said. "Ok shelly, this a simple procedure. Im just gonna put some gel on your stomach but its gonna be a little cold. It wont hurt a bit. Now, all you.need to do is lie back and pull up your shirt up.to your chest" Dr Harper said getting out the gel. As he put the cold gel on my stomach, i squeezed graysons hand. Grayson kissed my forehead and told me everythings gonna be ok. As the doctor was scanning my belly, he said "Do you hear that?" with a smile. I heard nothing, until a few seconds later. It was the sound of my babys heartbeat. I looked over at gray and saw a tear run down his cheek. I looked at him and he smiled kissing me with his perfect lips. I wiped off the gel and Dr Harper asked "would you like to know the gender of the baby?" Me and grayson looked at eachother and we both said "YES!!!" in excitement. "Ok...you guys are having a baby girl" he said smiling. Grayson spun me around and kissed me. "If you have any problems with the baby or if you have morning sickness, just come by and I'll schedule an appointment" Dr Harper said. "Thank you so much dr" i said shaking his hand. We left the office and the woman at the front desk gave me her number. "if you have any problems, just call me. I'll understand. Becareful honey. That boy is a keeper" she saud smiling. "Thank you so.much for your help" i said waving. We got in the car and grayson touched my belly and whispered "hey little girl, im gonna be your new daddy". He kissed my belly and we left the sameday. I couldnt help but to cry a little more. I cant believe it...im pregnant...im gonna have a baby girl...with the love of my life...and he is grayson dolan.
