Chapter 36: invisible zombies part 1

Emelia's P.O.V

we stayed down stairs and continued being quiet until we hear footsteps from outside. I see a small crack of light and decide to see what's going on from the outside. I take a small peek as melody stayed behind me. i see legs walking like if they were being dragged towards our house. there were thousands of them. I heard groans as I knew what this meant. I backed away with a little panicking running through me but tried being brave for melody. what the hell are we gonna do now?

Melody:"Mommy what is it?"

Emelia:"Nothing. it's nothing. you should get some rest. come."

I said and sat down as she walked over to me and placed her head on my lap as I stroked her hair and sang her favorite lullaby but in a really quiet tone to be 'invisible' from the zombies..

Gerard's P.O.V

Bob:"So you're fucking telling us that were surrounded by zombies?!?!"

Cece:"shhh!! can you at least keep it down!"

Bob:"I don't care. besides, i thought we were vampires, they can't hurt us."

Gerard:"but they can hurt Em, melody and Cece."

Bob:"Can't we just call the police?"

blackheart:"I'm pretty sure other people are doing that."

Frank:"But it's always worth a shot."

I sighed and decided to just go upstairs to me and Em's bedroom.

Frank's P.O.V

Bob started calling the police as we all sat on the floor trying to be quiet, i could tell Cece was a little scared since she was rocking back and forth. I got close to her and put my arm around her as she stopped rocking and put her head on my shoulder.

Bob:"The cops didn't really believe me but they're coming anyways."

we stayed quiet as we concentrated on all the groans from outside.

Bob:"What happens if we don't make it?"

we all looked at him and kept quiet as we took a moment to take in that question and think.

Cece:"If this is our last night together...I want you all to know that...it was nice knowing all of you."

We stayed quiet as we hear sirens get here. we waited for the police to aim their weapons at the zombies and shoot but we heard nothing. The door bell ringed and Bob got up to open it as i followed him. he opens the door as two officers were standing there looking bored as hell, one of them was just chewing gum with their mouth open revealing his white teeth. no zombies.

officer:"Where's the zombies?"

Bob starred at me shocked as I looked at him shocked too. the police officer started laughing then decided to write us a ticket for messing around with cops. he handed us the ticket and walked away. Bob starred at the ticket as i kept my eyes on the two officers. they stopped walking and started screaming as their necks were opened apart and their arms were teared off.

Frank:"Shut the door!!"

Bob slammed the door shut as we breathed heavily.

Blackheart:"What's going on?"

...

Frank:"We're dealing with invisible zombies."

Cece:"Guys...maybe Em and melody need to stay with us. I have a strong feeling something is gonna happen."
