chapter 32: imprinting

Emelia's P.O.V

Emelia:"you."

melody:"mommy he's changed! he helped me escape Linda! Linda was beating me and that's why I have bruises everywhere!"

she said as she rolled up her light pink sleeve revealing a bunch of bruises. I gasped as I viewed her while trying to hold back tears.

melody:"mommy what you see here is real but it would have been worse if Wes didn't save me."

Emelia:"Wes?"

blackheart:"me."

the Room went silent as Julian and Daniel lowered their weapons.

blackheart:"Em- Emelia, I know we started off into a bad start...a REALLY bad start."

Emelia:"you bet we did."

I snapped at him as I thought of all the trouble he had caused and not just trouble but nightmares too.

blackheart:"but I promise you that I will never do that again. ever."

blackheart:"do you know what imprinting is?"

please tell me it doesn't have the same meaning from the twilight movies.

blackheart:"imprinting on someone is like...like when you see her...everything changes. all of a sudden it's not gravity holding you to the planet, it's her, nothing else matters. you would do anything...Be anything for her."

great. he even knows the lines.

Emelia:"wow. I didn't know you were a major twilight fan! you do realise that all that stuff is fake right? let me guess, are you best friends with Taylor Lautner too or did you tease him and turn him into a werewolf forever?!"

blackheart:"Em I'm serious."

Emelia:"since when do you call me Em?"

Julian:"Melody go to your room."

melody:"but-"

Julian:"now!"

she says as she maker her way up stairs quietly.

Julian:"finish talking before we rip up your throat!"

she snapped at blackheart as her and Daniel raise their weapons and Aim at blackheart.

blackheart:"go on. kill me, let's see how happy melody is when she finds out her savior is dead."

he said as they lowered their weapons again.

blackheart:"I'm serious about imprinting. it's a real thing that doesn't just happen to werewolves but for us too. for everyone."

Melody's P.O.V

I never went to my room, instead I listened to their conversion on the steps. if they want to hurt Wes, they're gonna have to go through me because Wes saved my life so I should save his, right?

Julian:"why are we even talking about imprinting?!"

blackheart:"because I imprinted on melody."

Emelia:"excuse you?! I just got my daughter back and you're telling us that you guys are meant to be together?!!"

blackheart:"not be together, I just want to protect her!"

Julian:"if it's from Linda, we can protect her our selves!"

blackheart:"no you can't!!!"

blackheart:"you can't...there's worse things than Linda headed our way. worse that you can't even imagine. more powerful and strong. more hungrier and angrier. without me all of you are dead."

worse things? I started to get supper scared as I felt my body go cold, I took a look at my hands and found them cold and pale as ice. I started getting light headed as I heard laughter behind me. I turn around as I was freezing to death and find a glass doll in the floor with a dirty face and a broken eye ball with blood all over her outfit. I got even more scared and light headed as I felt myself roll down the stairs and everything went black as I still felt my body cold as ice.
