Chapter 37: invisible zombies part 2

Gerard's P.O.V

I started pacing back and forth as I started to think of all the possible things that could happen tonight. what if one of us gets hurt? what if....no. i can't think about any of this. I took out my phone and started dialing Em's number.

Emelia's P.O.V

Melody was having trouble sleeping since we both heard the loud groaning noises from outside. Melody raised herself from my lap and I stood up from the floor to get another glimpse from outside. I peek from the crack when all of a sudden a zombie notices me and starts peeking from the other side. I immediately pull away from the crack as I grabbed melody and we backed away from the wall.

After a while, the zombie stopped trying to get it. w both sighed with relief until my phone went off. Shit.

Melody:"Mommy turn it off!"

I ignore the call i was getting and hanged up the call as more zombies tried to get it from the crack. Melody starts hugging me tighter as the crack got bigger making a bunch of hands able to reach us. we grabbed what ever we could and started hitting their hands with all our might but it was useless. we backed away more as their heads were inside but not the rest of their bodies. although one of them was able to get it. I screamed and closed my eyes when all of a sudden I hear the zombie being pushed to the floor. I opened my eyes and see Gerard using a knife to kill them.

Gerard:"Save yourselves, i'll hold them back!"

I nodded as I grabbed Melody's hand and we ran upstairs. we finally arrive upstairs as we see everyone else. Melody runs up to blackheart and hugs him like a teddy bear while I see gerard down stairs saving our asses. Em, you're not an ordinary human. you're a pixie. Not only that but you're married to the greatest guy! couples helps each other. Gerard saved you from that time when Chris was about to kill you in that abandoned house. If it wasn't for gerard, you would be dead. now is the time to re pay him from that day. I thought to myself. I looked at my hand and imagined a knife as it appeared like magic.

Cece:"Em you okay?"

Frank:"Come on, let's get you safe."

he started making his was towards me but I turned back and closed the door behind me and locked it. Frank started banging on the door telling me that this was a mistake but i don't care. I'm tired of being the worthless girl who does nothing to help. I rushed towards Gerard and killed my first zombie.

Gerard:"What are you doing here?! Get back up stairs!"

Emelia:"No! I'm not leaving you!"

he hesitated about my decision but went along with it as we killed more and more zombies together.

Melody's P.O.V

I hugged black heart with all my might as he hugged me tighter. we pulled apart and I see Frank giving up on calling my mom from the other side of the door.

Frank:"What is she even doing down there?"

Melody:"She's killing zombies with daddy."

Bob:*whistles* "that's something you don't hear every day."

Frank:"Melody what are you talking about?"

Melody:"She's killing zombies with daddy."

Cece:"But they're invisible."

Melody:"pssh yea right, go see for yourselves."

Frank:"So if we're dealing with actual zombies...then...who killed the cops?"

he asks, we all stay quiet as someone from the basement knocked. Frank opened the door revealing mommy and daddy covered in blood. Gross.

Gerard:"Zombies are gone."

Cece:"well the zombies might be gone but something else is still here."

Cece:"And it's not done with us."
