chapter 19: new look; awkward moment

Gerard's P.O.V

I sat on a chair while Cece worked on my hair, I was pretty nervous actually. first she combed it and then she cut it, when she finished, I felt fresh, tho she wasn't done yet, she snapped her fingers and then started rubbing the dye on my hair. we waited for 40 minutes then she told me to shower. when I came out, I sat back down and she blow dried my hair then combed it.

Cece:"done!"

she says and spins me around to view myself in the mirror. my hair was white and short! I loved it!

Gerard:"oh my gosh, this is amazing Cece!"

Cece:"thank you! thank you! I like doing my best!"

she says, I hugged her tightly then looked at myself again.

Cece:"hehe wait till melody see's you!"

I smiled and headed down stairs with Cece behind me and the first person I see is Em.

Emelia:"woah! you look so different! it looks amazing!"

melody:"woah! daddy you cut you hair!"

she says, I laugh and picked her up as she grabbed my hair with both her hands making small pig tails.

Gerard:"do you like it?"

melody:"I love it!"

she says, I kissed her cheek and then placed her on the ground again then walked towards Em to peck her lips and hug her until we hear the doorbell ring.

Emelia:"I'll go get it."

she says and walks towards the door revealing Jessica and Jorge.

Emelia:"omg! hey guys! what are you doing here?"

Jessica:"well we just wanted to come by and see hire everything is."

she says, melody runs up to Em and behind her and Jorge goes into shock.

Jorge:"Que chingados Es eso!"

Emelia:"I'm sorry?"

Jorge:"who dat?"

Emelia:"um..melody."

...

Emelia:"she's our daughter..."

Jorge:"what the cheetos?! you guys had a baby?"

Em turns towards me confused then looks back at him.

Emelia:"yea, you didn't know?"

Jorge:"no."

Jessica:*fakes laugh* "would you excuse us for a moment."

she says and shuts the door and all you can hear it's Jessica explaining everything to Jorge. we waited for a couple of minutes until Jessica opens the door while they both have huge smiles on their faces.

Emelia:"ok...well come in."

she says and opens the door more for them to come in.

Jorge:"hey!! it's um..um..."

Gerard:"....Gerard."

Jorge:"right that!"

jessica:"so why did mcr break up??"

...

Gerard:"long story..."

I said, she nods and they take a seat on the couch while melody is still hiding behind Em.

Emelia:"melody these are my friends Jessica and Jorge. guys this is melody."

jessica and Jorge:"hi."

they said, melody steps closer to Jessica and then hugs her as Jessica hugs her back.

Jorge:"you know what..I think I remember you having a baby now, I just forgot."

Em nods and the room went into silence...which was pretty awkward if you ask me until Jessica and Jorge stand up.

jessica:"well uh, nice to see you guys and melody but we gotta go."

Emelia:"you just got here."

Jorge:"pos si pro tengo Que terminar mi tarea y tengo muchas cosas Que hacer."

Emelia:"huh?"

jessica:*laughs* "he has homework to do."

Em nods and they said their byes and left, Em closed the door and Leaned on it while she sighed.

Emelia:"I gotta work on my Spanish."

she says making me laugh.
