chapter 17: a pig and a dog?! what's next??

Gerard's P.O.V

we continued hugging each other while Em and melody kept losing tears. I was hugging both of them tightly and apparently I had to hug melody's pink teddy bear too. they stopped crying as I sang 'action cat' to both of them. I finished the song and they both looked up at me.

melody:"daddy is that a new song?"

Gerard:*smiles* "yea."

I said to her and a big smile appears on her face until our doorbell rings. I let go of both Em and Melody and went to open the door revealing a panicked Cece.

Gerard:"Cece what's wrong?"

I said and she put her hands on her hand and came inside. after she came in I noticed that it was chilly and that it was entering outside. I closed the door and Cece took a deep breath and looked at us.

Cece:"she's getting closer."

Emelia:"who?"

Cece:"the evil pixie queen."

...

Gerard:"melody go upstairs."

I said, she nods and hugs Em then run up stairs again. we wait until we hear the door close. and once we heard it, we began with our conversion.

Cece:"she visited me last night. she was looking for you guys... she wants melody..."

Emelia:"what did you tell her?"

Cece:"that you guys moved to Washington...I don't know If she believed me or not but if she did...shes gonna find out that I lied and come back...we have to do something."

she says, I took a seat next to Em and I pinched my nose and Em just put her hand on her forehead and closed her eyes. I looked up at Cece and she was looking at the floor while she sat on our couch and tears falling down from her cheeks

Cece:"she did something..."

Emelia:"what are you talking about?"

Cece:*sniff* "last night when she was here, Frank heard and tried protecting me and then he started threatening her...she...she turned Frank into a dog..."

she says and begins to sob, I went into shock, my best friend is dog. Em stood up and went to go sit next to Cece and hugged her. I felt anger running thro my veins, I stood up and ran my fingers thro my hair and started pacing around the room and kicked a chair with anger.

Emelia:"where's Frank now?"

Cece:"at the house *sniff* watching tv...I tried everything...I looked at my spell book and found nothing. I used the spell that I used from turning him back into human from a pig but It didn't work...pixies are much stronger than witches....what if I never get Frank back?"

she says and starts sobbing again as Em tried to calm her down.

Emelia:"maybe you can get him back...I mean I'm a pixie right?"

Cece:"but she's more powerful than you."

Gerard:"Em do you even know how to work your powers?"

Emelia:"no but..I'm willing to try..."

Cece:"I don't know if it will work anyways...I think she put a lock on the spell."

Gerard:"then we burn it."

Emelia:"how are we gonna burn it?"

Gerard:"dark magic?"

we stay silent for a few minutes until we hear melody's voice.

melody:"it's everything ok?"

I turn to look at Cece and she holds out her arms for melody to take, and as soon as she opened her arms there goes melody running like the wind.

Cece:"no honey, Frank is a dog."

melody:"cool!! can I keep him?!"

she asks and we all laugh.

Cece:"well that depends on Gee and Em."

she says, melody pulls apart from their hug and then rubs towards me hugging my waist and looking up at me.

melody:"can we keep him daddy please!! ill take good care of him."

she says, I smile and look at Em who smiles and Nods as she had her arm around Cece. I smile back and look at melody is jumping up and down while still hugging me.

Gerard:"sure."

melody:"aww your the best day ever!"

she says and hugs me tighter, I pick her up then place a kiss in her cheek.

Gerard:"and you're the best princess ever!"

melody:"yup yup yup. and mommy it's the best flower, huh daddy?!"

Gerard:"she sure is."

we smile and look at Em who is smiling and blushing at the same time.

Cece:"so what happens now?"

Emelia:"lets just forget about things right now and do something fun."

Cece:"ok, but first, I need to go get Frank, I'll be right back guys."

we replied with 'ok' and she left.

Emelia:"so, flower huh?"

she says, melody giggles and rests her head on my shoulder to hide her blush then looks up again facing Em.

melody:"yea, and daddy is the vampy With sharp teeth."

Gerard:*chuckles* "I think you mean vampire."

melody:"yea that."

she says as she starts playing with my hair, I kissed her cheek again and then started tickling her. I watched her as she was laughing with all her might and as Em started giggling as well.
