chapter 23: mom...dad...it's me...Emelia

Emelia's P.O.V

I was in my car as I was heading to Shelby's house; when I arrived, I see a huge white house. I sighed and turned off the engine as I started walking up her doorstep. I sighed as I felt my palms sweaty and ringed the doorbell. I heard footsteps come down and soon the door opens to a woman with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

woman:"can I help you?"

Emelia:"um, I'm Emelia, are you Shelby?"

woman:"oh oh oh! yes I am, come on in."

I smiled as I walked in while she closes the door behind me.

Shelby:"Angel and flora are probably up stairs, would you like something to drink?"

Emelia:"water's fine thank you."

she nods and walks in the kitchen, I Started to look around as I saw many photos on a shelf. there's photos of her and a guy hugging each other. there's more photos of 3 babies; I get this weird feeling that it's me, Claudia and Shaun. I continued looking as I saw another photo of me in her arms; I was wearing the same necklace I was in that photo. it was a necklace of the letter 'E'. I grabbed my necklace tightly as I looked into the photo as I shed a tear.

Shelby:"is everything ok?"

she asks, I turn around as I was still holding onto my necklace.

Emelia:"who's this?"

I asked as I showed her the picture.

Shelby:"to be honest with you...I don't know...I don't remember holding that baby; I don't even know who's baby it is."

Emelia:"the girl in the photo is me."

I said, she looked confused and gave me a look thinking I was crazy. she placed the glass of water on the coffee table without taking her eyes off me. I ran up to her and hugged Her as a glowing gold light shined between us then stopped shining; that's when she hugs me back.

Shelby:"I can't believe it's really you! I love you so much baby!"

she says as she kisses my forehead; I get it now, the spell will wear off if I make a connection with them. I just need dad.

Shelby:"where have you been! why didn't I remember about all this?"

Emelia:"you were under a spell; where's dad?"

Shelby:"he's at work; he'll be back at 8."

she says as we continued Hugging. after about a few more seconds, we pulled apart and sat down on the couch to talk about everything that has happened.

*hours later; 8:01 pm*

Shelby:"so you're telling me that Claudia and Shaun are dead; you're a pixie who's married to a vampire; you already had a baby which is part human, part vampire and part pixie; and now a guy named black heart and a woman named Linda is after melody?"

Emelia:"pretty much."

I said as we heard keys jangle and the door swings open revealing a tall man with pitch black hair, a black t-shirt; black jeans with red converse and hazel eyes.

man:"hi honey um...who's this?"

he asks, I smile and get up to hug him as I see the glowing gold again shining between us as I felt him hug me back.

kellen:"Emelia is this really you?! omg I missed you so much!"

he says as we both let tears flow away from our eyes. we pulled apart as Angel and flora come down stairs.

flora:"Em!!"

she says as they both rush over to me for a hug.

Angel:"we missed you so much!"

kellen:"are these yours?"

Emelia:"no I just babysit them."

I said, he smiles and walked over to Shelby as he kissed her lips and hugged her from behind.

Emelia:"well I should get going; Gerard is probably worried."

kellen: "who's Gerard?"

Shelby:"I'll explain to you later; we will visit you soon my darling."

I nodded and we said our goodbyes then I headed to my car with Angel and flora in the back seats. we made our way home and parked in the driveway; they both opened their doors quick and ran closed them as they raced to the door and ringed the doorbell. I laughed as I closed my door and saw Gerard open the door as they started jumping in front of him as he picked up flora then Angel and smiles at me.
