[ Your P.O.V ]

"Touka!?"

I raced to her with tears rolling down my cheeks.

She coughed and moved a little. Yomo helped her up while Yoshimura watched the broken cafe.

"W-where's Kaneki?" Hinami croaked out. "The Aogiri Tree took Kaneki." Touka muttered and Hinami sobbed.

I can't lose Kaneki.

We can't lose Kaneki.

"Gather everyone up the meeting room right now." Yoshimura said and started walking upstairs.

Yomo fished his phone out of his pocket and called everyone. He handed Touka to me and I helped her climb the stairs with me.

Minutes later, everyone is inside the meeting room.

Yoshimura cleared his throat.

"I'm sure you're all confused why you're here right now." He said.

Everyone looked at each other with worry.

"The Aogiri Tree took Kaneki Ken." Everyone looked very worried.

"We can't do anything to save him so we should just stay here." Yoshimura said and Hinami broke out into a sob.

Touka punched the table and stood up. "Well, if you aren't going, I'm going alone!" Nishiki seemed startled but agreed with her. Soon enough everyone agreed to save Kaneki.

Yoshimura smiled. "I just hope you know that I can't protect you all but I'll try my very best to protect you." He said.

Hours later..

"Over there!" I heard an investigator yell. I clutched my knife to my chest and waited for the investigator to cross my vision. "Show yourself, Ghoul!"

The investigator seems near.

I checked my surroundings and walked towards the investigator.

"Sorry." I stabbed him with a knife and took his briefcase.

Another investigator charged at me and I opened the briefcase and used the kagune to fight him.

"Kyaaa!" He slashed his kagune but missed me. I cut his head off with the kagune and shivered.

I looked at the kagune in my hands.

I can't kill.

This is wrong.

I dropped the kagune.

I ran away and entered an entrance leading somewhere. I kept running and running until I reached the top of the building.

The first thing I saw was Ayato eating something.. Touka!?

"T-touka!" I cried and ran towards her.

"Ayato! Stop it!" Tears fell down my cheeks.

"S-stop it!" I felt my eyes change and my kagune grow out of my back.

"Stop it!" I stood infront of him and he looked up.

"[Y/N].." He seemed shocked.

Out of nowhere, Kaneki appears and steals Touka away from Ayato.

"[Y/N], please-" He started but I cut him off with a slap.

"Just don't."

His eyes softened for a second but turned cold after.

"Fine."

He charged towards Kaneki and began attacking him.

I ran towards Touka and hugged her tightly.

"T-touka.."

"I'll be fine, [Y/N]."

"I'm not gonna lose you, right?" I croaked out and she nodded.

After a second, Ayato got picked up by a kagune and Kaneki left.

"K-kaneki!" Touka yelled after him and ran after him leaving me alone.

I ran after Touka and Kaneki.

I hid behind a tree as I watched them talk.

"You should get a haircut if you're going back to Anteiku." Touka joked.

"You won't be coming back to Anteiku?"

"No, I'll be going with the Aogiri Tree."

"W-what?!"

"Goodbye, Touka."

He then left her behind him.

And for the first time, I saw Touka cry.
