Tumawa lamang ako sa kanya. "Sure so he'll approved me", sabi ko naman at sinabayan siya sa trip niya.
Mas malakas siyang natawa. "He likes you already. He said I better end up with someone close to us. A family", aniya sa akin. "You know your bloodline are my Uncle Ambrogio I's, right? Technically speaking we're blood related".
Tumango ako. I know the history.
"So what am I to you? Your greatest great, great grandchild from your Uncle Ambrogio I's?", natawa ako.
She pouted cutely. "Do you actually see me as a grandma?", huminto siya sa paglalakad at humarap sa akin.
Natawa ako at umiling. "Nope. I see my future in you", I said and smile at her kaya napangiti din siya. "But I'll still stand strong to my decision to make you wait because I don't want to be unfair to you. I want to give you the whole me and not this broken one", sabi ko.
Mas lalo siyang ngumiti. "I know and I'm willing to wait, Thindrel. I know my worth. I deserve better".
The confidence. Really. So high.
Sabay kaming bumalik sa palasyo para sa pagkain. Pagkadating namin doon ay nakahanda na sa mahabang mesa ang mga pagkain na nakahanda. And there's a blood too.
"I should feel at home here. Dito din naman ako titira in the future diba?", she asked and winks at me.
Natawa ako at napailing. "You really have the guts, huh?".
"Bakit? Hindi ba? Why? Where do you want us to live? Just tell me", aniya at uminom ng tubig.
"Aren't you gonna miss your parents or live near them?", I asked.
"Nuh! It's not my parents who's I'm gonna marry. It's you so I'll follow where you wanna live", sabi niya.
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "I'll live here. I'm the King here", sabi ko.
"Then I'll live here too. I'm the Queen here", aniya at ngumiti. "Of course in the future when my waiting season is over".
Pagkatapos naming kumain ay kaagad na tumunog ang aking cellphone. Dwayne is calling kaya mabilis ko itong sinagot.
"Hey, cousin!", masiglang bati ko.
"Come here right now. Delaney is in delivery room!", iyon ang pambungad niya sa akin.
