Hindi ko na alam kung ano ang nangyari pagkatapos akong maging bihag ng lycanthrope.

Nagising nalang ako sa loob ng aking silid na halos hindi maalala ang lahat. My body is aching so bad and my head feels like spinning.

May chupacabra na kaagad lumapit sa akin pagkabangon ko.

"King Thindrel, kumusta po ang pakiramdam niyo?", he asked me with full of sincerity.

Tiningnan ko lang siya at umiling. Huminga muna ako ng malalim bago nagsalita.

"How long was I being unconscious?", I asked.

Kaagad naman siyang yumuko sa harapan ko. The door flew open and my parents went in. Sa mga mata ng aking ama ay kita ko ang galit doon.

He's fuming mad at me. I know. My mother on the other side is gentle. Kita ko sa kanyang mga mata ang matinding pag-alala.

"What do you think you're doing? Huh? Thindrel!?", his voice boomed all over the four corners of my room.

Halos mapatalon ako sa aking kama dahil sa gulat. I know my father is bad when angry but I've never been scolded this way ever. Even before I made a grave mistake. Ngayon lang.

"I-I'm sorry", tanging namutawi sa aking labi at napayuko.

He's breathing heavily now while my mom is trying to calm him down but I know his anger won't subside until he's done and satisfied with me.

"Is that what you are going to say? Sorry? You've put your life in danger and all the death dealers that were killed also have families, Thindrel", huminga siya ng malalim. "You're being an irresponsible King to them!", sigaw niya sa akin.

Parang iyon ang naging susi kung bakit ako napaharap sa aking ama. It made me trigger. Irresponsible? How can he say that to me when he's the one who passed this responsibility to me even though I'm not so sure if I can do it.

"You forced me to become a King at this age, dad. You have no idea how lonely it is to be here!", sigaw ko pabalik.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. What? He's lonely? No! He's bluffing.

"How can you be so lonely when you have mom with you all the way! Don't tell me you're lonely 'cause you have her!", sabay turo ko sa ina na ngayon ay nakayuko na.

Huminga ng malalim ang aking ama at umiling sa akin. Tila ba ay kumalma na ito.

"You don't know our story, son. You don't know anything at all", umiling siya sa akin like he is very disappointed at me before he stormed out the room.

Nanatili naman ang aking ina sa loob ng aking silid. She breathe out and reach for me. Niyakap niya ako and made me sit on my bed.

"Son", she called. "The way you talked to your dad is very wrong", malumanay na sabi niya sa akin.

"Why? Why am I wrong? Isn't it true?", I asked confused.

Umiling ang aking ina. "Your dad left his responsibility as the supposed to be Alpha of MoonBlazingFire pack...", panimula nito ngunit kaagad kong pinutol.

"Dwayne's pack?".

She nodded on my question. "He doesn't want to rule as an Alpha since his brother is the most appropriate ruler to have it. So he run away from home not for a rebellion but to build his own kingdom here", nilibot niya ng tingin ang buong silid ko like this is the kingdom my dad built.

"He created this to be the way of peace. For werewolves and vampires. That's how good your father is", huminga siya ng malalim.

"And? You're with him when he built this, right?", I asked.

Mabilis na umiling ang aking ina. "No, Thindrel. You're father built this kingdom alone. Without me and without anyone's help. Even your Uncle Cassius is asking for his help before from your father and he gave it all", she brushed her fingers on my hair gently.

"Where did you met him then?", I asked.

Huminga ng malalim si mommy bago ako hinarap. "It's very sad, Thindrel. This Kingdom is not as big as this today. He's being raid by rouges, werewolves. And they are defeated so he became their prisoner, for I don't know how long. Years?", bumaling siya sa akin. Ng makitang wala akong masabi ay nagpatuloy siya. "My life back then was a mess. I hope for a love from the wrong person. That's my huge mistake against my sister", my mom's tears pooled.

She made a mistake against Dwayne's mom? How? Pero hindi na niya iyon ikwenento sa akin.

"We met at the prison. I was captured too because the rouge thought I'm the Luna Queen. My sister came to rescue me at naipahamak ko siya. Your dad was there and he rescued me. That's where we met, Thindrel. And even though how worst my past is, he still accepted me", aniya sa akin bago huminga ng malalim.

"Don't judge how the way your dad ruled this Kingdom for choosing you to take over him at this age, Thindrel. Your dad loves you so much and he's just scared that we might lose you", aniya.

Huminga ako ng malalim. "Am I really irresponsible, mom?", tanong ko. I'm still bother with what father said to me.

Mabilis na umiling ang aking ina. "No. Nasabi lang siguro ng ama mo iyon dahil sa galit. But you know what? He's very proud of you. You have no idea how he made praises of you, son", aniya.

Tumango ako. "When am I going to meet the love like yours and dad's", sabi ko sa sarili.

Natawa naman ang aking ina. "You'll find it very soon. When you're ready, Thindrel".
