Chapter 177

Gabby's POV: After spending the past hour upstairs, alone in bed with Louie...I decided to come downstairs to see how Matt was doing. That's when I came into the office to see him on the computer with both of his new monitors on the wall while he had his laptop in front of him. It had a pretty big screen so he didn't need to have a third monitor on his desk. But what he did have was a new keyboard and mouse. I just hope it wasn't too expensive. Walking up to him, I smiled at him. "How expensive was this whole set up?" Matt then turned to look at me and smiled. "Maybe $150-200 at the most." I was shocked and smiled. "That's not bad."

Matt then smiled at me. "The CFD paid for half of it. I said I was going to keep it after for when Louie starts school or if this goes on longer than we expect. I am not going back in for a while." I nodded and agreed with him when I saw that he got a second chair in there for me. Going to sit in it, I smiled as I went to put my hands on my stomach. "You got this for me didn't you?" Matt nodded and smiled at me as he went to turn around in his chair and looked at me. "Yeah, I knew you wouldn't able to resist coming downstairs and sitting with me when Louie is napping."

I smiled when he said that and nodded. "Probably not." Matt laughed when I said that and smiled. "Hey, so I haven't asked you this in a while but...how are you feeling pregnancy wise? And then in general?" I looked at him, a bit confused by his question. "What do you mean?" Matt sighed when I said that. "Gabby, you must have some emotions about Louie. Do you think he needs to grieve for his father or is he okay? And the babies...they okay? Anything worrying you that we should talk to the doctor about? I am not saying there is but...I just want you to know..."

I then smiled at him. "That you're here for me. I know that Matt, believe me." Matt nodded when I said that. Walking over to him, I went to sit in his lap and smiled at him. "This awkward or comfortable?" Putting my hands on his chest, I hoped he said it was comfortable. "Oh, it's very comfortable. Nothing like holding my beautiful, pregnant wife in my lap." Matt then went to kiss me softly as I moved my hand to his neck. "I am going to help you in these cases okay? I mean, when I can...I know what it's like to work at OFI and I want something stimulating to do."

Matt smiled when I said that and then went to kiss my neck a bit. "I think that I know something that can be stimulating." I laughed when he said that and smiled at him. "Okay, you already had your fun earlier today. So please relax. Now, what are your plans for supper tonight? We ordering in or are you cooking? Because I would like to help. I know I am on bedrest but, I need to do something. Maybe I can do it sitting down or something." Matt then nodded when I said that. "I promise babe, I am going to let you do stuff...I am just scared right now. Really worried."

Putting my hand on his neck, I went to kiss him. "Babe, talk to me. What's got you worried?" Matt then sighed and looked at me. "What happens if you have to give birth and you or the triplets catch this?" Gabby then looked at me when I said that and then just went to grab my hand. "Matt, I am sure that we are going to be safe. You are going to be there though. I heard they are limiting who can be there." Matt turned to look at me when I said that. "What's the limit?" I sighed when he asked me. "I am allowed 1 person." Matt nodded when I said that.

"And you don't want me to stay with Louie instead?" I was shocked he even said that. Getting up, I went to put my hand on his face and pushed it up. "Matt, you are my husband and these babies' father. You are going to be the only man I want with me when I am going through this. Matt, I am going to need you." I then went to kiss him softly. "Yes, Louie needs his parents but...I need my husband to go through the birth. And believe me, you will regret it if you don't come watch me give birth to your only biological children." Matt nodded when I said that.

I then smiled and went to get him up. Hugging him, I smiled as we held each other close. I then smiled when I felt him kiss my head. "I love you, you know that right?" I smiled and nodded when he said that. "Oh believe me, I know that you love me. Remember, you are the one that supported me all through everything...us continuing with this pregnancy at first when we thought it was too risky...to us bringing Louie home where he belongs. Matt, you have been my biggest supporter and I am forever grateful for that. I love you."

Matt smiled when I said that before going to kiss me softly. "I love you too. But Louie is sleeping in his room tonight, I want to do something with you later." I smiled when he said that. "Again?" Matt laughed when I said that before going to kiss my neck. "Or a nice bath?" I then thought about that and nodded. "That sounds perfect. We haven't taken a bath together since our honeymoon I think." Matt nodded when I said that. "That's the last time I remember taking a bath together too so, that's true. But, we can wait for our date if you want...."

I shook my head when he said that. "Oh no, I have it in my mind that we are taking a bath together tonight and that's what we are going to do. Right after I make us supper. Sorry but, I think I can cook something." I shook my head when she said that. "That's my job okay? Your job is to take care of our kids. Are you hungry for supper?" Gabby nodded before going to kiss me softly. "Amongst other things." I laughed when she said that and smiled at her. "Can I just order us some pizza? Because I really just want to take you to bed right now."

Smiling, I went to rub his cheek. "What made you change your mind?" Matt smirked as he went to kiss my neck, about to tell me when he stopped. "Louie." I then went to turned around and saw him. "Hey big man. You starting to get hungry?" Louie then nodded as he held his blanket. I then went to get up and smiled at Matt. "Daddy is going to get us a pizza okay? How about you come with me and I can give you a bath?" Matt then looked at me. "Gabby, you sure you can bend down." Turning to look at him, I just glared a him and shut him up. "I can do it babe!"

Matt nodded and agreed with me. "Okay. I am going to order us a pizza. What do you like on your pizza Louie?" Louie then looked at me. "Cheese." I nodded and smiled. "Pepperoni?" Louie then shook his head. I then agreed with him. "One cheese pizza coming up. I bought one today, can I just cook the one I got at the store?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "Sure thing. By the way, next time...we are doing pick up. It was just too late to order and we were out of things." I nodded and agreed with her. "Sure thing. Now, go give that little one a bath and I'll get pizza."

I smiled and agreed with him while grabbing Louie's hand and leading him away to take a bath upstairs in our room. Meanwhile, Matt went to make us a cheese pizza for supper.
