Jay's POV: When Hank mentioned that I already asked Erin to marry me, I got nervous because I didn't know whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. I mean, I did get his blessing but...did he want me to wait a bit or what? I am so lost right now and honestly, I am quite nervous. Let's just hope that I am not in trouble because that might meant that I am in trouble at work. "Hank.." Voight then stopped me and smiled. "About damn time! I am surprised you didn't do it the minute she got back in town." I smiled when he said that and wrapped my arm around Erin.

Looking up at me, Erin then went to kiss me softly. "I love you, you know that right?" I nodded and smiled when she said that. "How about you go sit in the truck and I will come join you. Still not driving." Erin nodded and agreed. "I am going to want to stare at my ring anyways." I laughed when she said that before watching her walk away. However, not before stopping Hank from going to hug her. "Uhm Hank, not happening." Voight then looked at me. "Why not?" I sighed and looked at him. "I am going to have to play the dad card here. My kid's in there."

He then looked at me and started to realize what I was talking about. "Oh, you are talking about COVID." I nodded and sighed while looking at him. "Hank, I'm sorry but...I really want this baby. It's my dream come true...our dream come true. Me and Erin have always wanted to be together and have a family. And now that we are pregnant and engaged, you are not going to do anything to screw this up for us!" Hank laughed and agreed with me. "Am I going to least be invited to the wedding?" I looked at him and just bit my lip. "Okay, I am not saying yes or no yet."

Hank then glared at me. "Hank, I've been engaged for 60 seconds! Heck, the wedding guest list is the last thing on my mind right now. Who knows whether we are even going to do a big wedding...we might just elope or we might just, I don't know. But listen, I am not thinking about that now because we have a year before we get married. I am not doing it before the baby comes. I want our kid to be here first." Voight nodded and agreed with me when I said that. "Of course, I'm sorry." I then went to back up a bit. "Listen, I hate to say this but...we need to talk."

He was confused when I said that. "What's up?" I then bit my lip. "Hank listen...I get you love Erin and she loves being with you but...I think right now, with us not knowing about this disease...I am going to have to ask you to keep your distance from Erin. She's pregnant and I just hope you don't get mad when I ask you this and just understand." Hank nodded and agreed with me when I said that. "You want to protect your fiancé and future child, I get and respect that both as a man and as Erin's father...so I promise that I will keep my distance but we will talk!"

I nodded and agreed with him. "Believe me, I never said that we wouldn't talk. Heck, I want you to text us after every shift so that we know you are home safe. Erin hasn't said anything but...I know that she's worried with your age." Hank nodded when I said that and agreed with me. "Makes sense. Listen, I am just going to talk to her through the window." I nodded and agreed with her before letting him go. I then went to get in the truck with her while he walked around the truck so that he could talk to her.

Erin was about to put her window down but, I stopped her. "Erin, no. You can't put it down for the health of you and the baby okay? You need to keep it up. Hank can talk to you through the window." Erin sighed when I said that and nodded as I went to grab her hand. "You know I love you right." Erin nodded and went to kiss me softly. "I love you too." She then went to look at Hank and went to show him the ring. He smiled when she showed it to him. "It's gorgeous Halstead, you picked good." I smiled and agreed. "It was my mom's ring."

He smiled when I said that. I then went to grab Erin's hand and intertwined our fingers. "We should go. We are going to meet up with another pregnant couple from a distance. And believe me Hank, they are safe...we all know they are." Hank then looked at me and Erin sighed. "It's Antonio's sister!" Hank then looked at us and agreed. "Then I am going to get going...have fun." I laughed when he said that and watched as he went to get back in his car. Waving at him as he left, I then turned to look at Erin and laughed while going to kiss her softly. "I love you."

Erin smiled when I said that and then went to lean her forehead against mine. "I love you too. Now listen, let's go tell Matt and Gabby that we are engaged." I nodded and smiled when she said that before going to give her one last kiss on our way to the playground where they said that they (and Louie) were going to meet us at.
