Chapter 229

Matt's POV: Once Gabby finished in the bathroom, I was waiting for her in our spot when she walked up to her. "You pregnant again?" Gabby laughed when I said that before walking up to me. She then went to grab my hands and moved them to her baby bump. Stepping close to her, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly. "You know, we could always go out again tomorrow. We need to do some shopping for that bedroom at the firehouse." Gabby then shook her head and smiled when I said that. "By the way, I think I already know what you are thinking we are going to do when I am at the firehouse some nights." I nodded and smirked. "Only after the hard calls of course." Gabby then smiled when I said that before going to wrap her arms around me.

Grabbing the back of her head, I went to kiss it and then smiled at her. "I already had my beer for tonight. Just let me sober up and then we can go." Gabby then looked at me. "We still need to eat Matt. Think maybe we can do that?" I nodded when she said that. "Hey, of course we can. You getting hungry?" Gabby then looked at me when I said that. "Is that really a question? Matt, I'm pregnant with triplets and have been on my feet a lot today. By the way, did you seriously have to keep me on my feet while we were at the firehouse?" I then thought about that and sighed. "I am sorry babe, I should've thought about that." Gabby nodded when I said that before going to wrap her arms around me. "Listen, come sit with your sister again okay?" 

I nodded and agreed with her when she said that before following her to the booth where Antonio, my sister and Violet were sitting. Letting Gabby get in first, I then went to wrap my arm around her and just held her close. "So Violet, what do you think about Antonio?" Violet then looked at me when I asked her that. "Honestly, if you trust him...then I trust him." I laughed when she said that. "Violet, he's Gabby's brother." Violet then turned to look at Antonio and then looked at Gabby. "That's where i saw the ressemblance. Remind me why you never told me that you were my uncle's brother-in-law?" Antonio then laughed. "I thought you already knew." Violet then shrugged. "Yeah, because I am going to know all of my uncle's family."

Gabby then sighed when she said that. "By the way Violet, did you get the picture of Louie we sent you? Your newest cousin." Violet nodded and smiled. "Yeah, he's adorable. Foster son right?" I then shook my head. "Nope, our son. He's already ours." Gabby smiled when I said that when I saw Hermann bring us some menus. "Here, pick your food. It's on the house tonight." I laughed when he said that. "Hermann, you do realize that you should never charge me anyways? I mean, I own part of the bar remember?" Hermann then looked at me. "Yeah, with Gabby." I then shook my head when he said that. "Nope, I own 5% of the bar independent of Gabby." Gabby looked at me when I said that. "You do?" I nodded. "It was how you paid me."

Antonio then smirked when I said that. "Yeah, that's the only way she paid you." I then looked at him when he said that. "What does that mean?" Antonio then laughed and smiled at me. "Oh c'mon Matt, you were dating my sister while you built her this bar. It's obvious why you did it. It was so you guys could get closer." I just stared at him when he said that. "Gabby, grab your jacket. We're leaving." I then went to get up, insulted before going to walk away to grab my jacket. Antonio then looked at me. "What's up with him?" I then turned to look at him. 

"WHAT'S WRONG IS THAT YOU JUST ACCUSED ME OF ONLY BUILDING THIS BAR TO GET IN BED WITH YOUR SISTER! OR DID YOU FORGET THAT I WAS ENGAGED TO ANOTHER WOMAN WHEN I WAS BUILDING THIS BAR AND THAT SHE WAS KILLED ON THE DAY IT OPENED!!!" Everybody then turned to look at me when I said that, obviously shocked at my outburst.

As everybody looked at me, I was just shocked while staring at Antonio. I then decided that I was not going to let my sister be with him right now. "Christie, let's go. I'm driving you home." Antonio then looked at me. "What? No, she's staying." I then looked at him. "You may be my brother-in-law...but you do not get to accuse me of doing this to get in Gabby's pants when I was engaged to another woman! A woman I loved and whom I lost the night it opened!"

Christie then looked at me when I said that and went to get up. Antonio tried to stop her again. "Babe." Christie just shook her head. "Let's go Violet. I was wrong about you Antonio." Antonio then went to grab her hand and I had enough. I went to grab my sister's hand and just looked at him. "Until you apologize, and I forgive you...you do not contact my sister or my niece. In fact, stay the hell away until we reach out to you." I then went to grab Gabby's hand and we left.
