Chapter 14: Trapped

(Lukas's POV)

We started to walk into the bunker.. We then noticed a door that was left opened. "Where do you think this door leads to?" I asked.

"Only one way to find out!"

We then went into the room. It was cold and dark.. But then we noticed a table... With a note.. I picked it up. "What's it say?" Petra asked.

Dear Lukas,
If you ever read this I'm probably dead.. Or taken somewhere.. I originally planned to just hit the open road and go out adventuring.. Petra's words really hurt me and it seemed like you were the only one to care.. But the others didn't.. Even though i know you cared i still couldn't stay with the others.. Especially Petra.. What hurts me the most is i couldn't even say goodbye to you! It hurts me so much.. One day when i was on the open road Romeo kidnapped me.. I don't know where i will be by the time you get this but i might be long gone.. before i go i have a message to tell you.. Before we were even friends i wanted to get to know you more.. Everyone called our group losers so i didn't really get the chance to do that.. during our portal hopping adventures i sorta developed feelings for you.. I felt so lonely all those times i almost lost you.. I love you.. I'm not really sure how you feel about me but that's why I'm telling you now because I'll probably be gone.. So if you don't like me back no hard feelings right? I gotta run but hey.. At least i might see Reuben again! If i do I'll tell him you all said hi! But I do wish you all the best with the rest of your life..

"C'mon! What's it say?"

"Jesse l- loves me......"

"What?"

"She wrote me a letter... Saying that she has feelings for me.. So she really does like me back.."

"Lovebirds-" She said in an annoyed tone.

"Stop!"

"No-"

"Ugh- Well what are we supposed to do now? We're no closer than before!" I said as i let myself fall to the ground.

"That's not true! Get up!"

"Why?"

"Lukas..."

"You know when you said you'd beat me to it before?"

"I-"

"Well do it! Kill me! I wanna be with Jesse-"

"Lukas- How do you even know she's dead?"

"But the note!"

"You know Jesse- she probably thought she'd be dead."

"What's the point on going anymore? We aren't gonna ever find her.."

"We will!"

"How are you hoping so?"

"Do i really gotta sit here and tell ya all the things we've done in the past?"

"It just feels so impossible.."

"I know- but we'll get there.. You'll see.."

"Okay.." I said as a got up.

"How do we even know where to go from here?" I asked.

"I- i don't know..."

"Why hello guys...." Romeo said as he walked in the room and locked the door behind him.

"Romeo... Long time no see." Petra said.

"What did you do with Jesse?" I asked.

"You're asking me? You took her!"

"No we didn't!" Petra said.

"Yes you did.. And I'm not letting you go anywhere's until you tell me where she is..."
