Tittle: Future Stepmom

A/n: this is trash so....

This was requested by Lpsgracetv123 Thanks for the request, I hope you like it!

Request: "can you do one where y/n is a single mom with her 3 year old daughter and they go to the store and her daughter gets lost so Olivia just so happens to be there and returns her to her mother. Then go to the future and they're together"

"Did you go potty?" You asked your daughter, bending down to her height, "yep!"

"Okay, you ready to go?"

"Yep!" She squeaked once again. She was excited to go to the store. Every time you went you would always get her back something sweet like chocolate or candy.

You picked her up, grabbed your keys, bag and put your sunglasses on before exiting your little apartment.

A year after your daughter was born her father, your first love, died in a plane crash. Since then you haven't really dated. Just a couple set up dates and blind dates.

You arrived at the store and instructed your daughter to stay by your side. After walking for a bit, you could still feel her small hand in your pocket, which is something she does a lot. She always loves to put her hand in your pocket.

She might be a 3 year old but she's very smart for her age. She always knows what you need before you say it, and she always knows what your going today before you say it.

Somehow you lost track of her hand and when you looked around to see where she had gone, she had completely disappeared.

That's when you started to panic. You left your cart where in the aisle you currently were in looking for bread and started to run around the store.

It was a huge store, she could be anywhere. But you didn't stop looking, after searching the area you were in you realized you have to think smart about this. So you raced to the toy area and when she wasn't there, you went to the candy area and that's where you found her.

Your daughter's pov (when she got lost)

I was getting really bored with buying bread so I let go of mama's pocket and started to walk around. At first I was walking closely to where she was but then something caught my eyes. The candy section.

I ran to it and started to pick out the candy, as soon as I finished, I had a lot of candy in my hands, I looked around but I couldn't find mama. I forgot where I came from to the candy area.

I started to panic, but then a tall lady came over to me with a smile on her face.

She was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. She looked a lot younger then mama, "hello." Her voice was soft, "are you lost?"

I nod my head as tears start to fall down my cheek, "I want my mama."

"What's your name?"

"M-my name is-" I stopped, mama always told me to never say my real name in front of people I don't know so I lied, "y/n..."

"It's okay y/n, do you remember where you left your mom?"

I shake my head "no", "Okay, we'll go look for her." She stood up and helped me put all the candy in her shopping basket before holding onto my hand.

Second pov

You saw your daughter holding someone's hand about to walk away from the candy aisle, "Emma!"

You raced to where she was standing, holding hands with Olivia and pulled her into a tight hug.

When you pulled away from the hug, you carried Emma and rested her on your hip, "heyyy" Olivia said awkwardly.

"Hi, thank you for finding Emma." You give her a soft smile.

"Yeah, no problem. But she told me her name was y/n."

You chuckle, giving Emma a high-five, "I'm y/n... at least she followed one of my rules."

-Time Skip-

"Mommy?" Emma taps your arm softly, trying to wake you up.

You groan but get up and rub your eyes open, "what's wrong sweetheart?"

"Mama is crying." Emma says and your head shoots straight up. You run to your shared bedroom to find her crying, a phone in her hand.

"Oh my god, Olivia." You rush to her side and hold her as she cries.

"It's closing." She mumbles, "what's closing?" You push a strand of her hair to her ear, away from her face before I wipe her tears with the tip of my sleeve.

"The store we met in 6 years ago. They're closing it. Permanently."
