A/n: My inner poet came out for this one. Also originally I wrote this where the ex was non-binary but then I wanted to be evil so I changed it to someone.

You had made the mistake of getting lost in your last relationship, looking for validation. It was painful and sad, something you definitely weren't proud of and promised yourself to never do again.

Finally you reached your breaking point, enough was enough. But breaks rarely come with smooth edges and love doesn't just go away because they do.

Olivia had probably been your closest friend since you started acting. You were the same age and got along really well. You could talk all night and not run out of things to talk about.

She was awfully pretty, both on the outside and on the inside. And maybe before you got together with Sabrina you had a little crush on her... Maybe.

She was there for you throughout the entire breakup: handing you tissues while you cried, watching movies with you to take your mind off things. She never made you feel bad for hanging onto Sabrina for so long.

Both you and Olivia had lost a lot before starting your acting and her singing careers. This was just another thing added to that list.

The two of you were laying in your bed, an old episode of pretty little liars playing in the background as you ate dinner. You had made it your mission to introduce Olivia to the world of teen drama outside of twilight.

You looked over at your phone as it vibrated on your nightstand. You picked it up to read the message, figuring it was your mom or Sister looking for you. Most of your messages came from people in your family and small circle of m friends, being the only ones you really were close to.

Instead your eyes widened at the name 'Sabrina' across the screen. You looked over at Olivia and then back at the screen.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Olivia said with a hint of concern in her voice. You held the phone up for her to read. Three simple words and your heart had dropped to the bottom of your stomach. "I miss you."

You turned your phone back around, staring with furrowed brows, while Olivia stared at you. It had been about two months since Sabrina had decided to end things and now she wants to get back together? You slowly put your phone face down back in its previous spot on the nightstand, looking back towards the TV like nothing had happened.

Olivia could feel the confusion coming off of you in waves. She figured you were trying to decide whether or not to message her back. In her mind it was clear that you were still in love.

She reached over and grabbed your hand in hers, pulling your attention away from the screen.
"I know it hurts, and Sabrina made you feel like she was the center of your universe. She was very persuasive but she's not the sun of your universe, You are."

Your eyes welled up with tears as you pulled her into a hug. Somehow Olivia always knew exactly what to say to make you feel better. You didn't deserve her, though if anyone asked she would always say that it was her who didn't deserve you.

"Thank you." you smiled softly as you pulled away, laying against your pillows. Slowly she leaned back to lay beside you.

You turned so you could look at her, as soon as your eyes landed on her, a face eating smile planted itself on your face. Once she noticed her eyes locked with yours "You have a very pretty smile." Olivia whispered, she turned her head back at the tv before you could even respond.

Instead of saying anything you took her hand in yours, interlocking your fingers and squeezing gently.
Olivia was the closest to the sun you'd ever get without being burned.

A/n: No shade intended, I love Sabrina, I've been following her on Instagram since girl meets world.
