What did i just heard and see?

Alter ego?

Or baka trip nya lang today? Nagjojoke or nagpaprank.

"Gab, I..."

The beauty in front of me laughs. "Mira."

Lalo akong nalito. Mira?

I just eyed her. I can't deny that she feels different. Gabrielle seems to be another person na ngayon ko lang nakilala.

The Gabrielle i know is very poised, she won't laugh like that. I mean there's nothing wrong with it but....

"Don't look at me like that." Gabrielle said. "I know you are confused Mira."

"It's Mia." Pagtatama ko habang nakamata sa kanya.

She chuckles softly. "I'm sorry, I'm bad with names." Umiling iling sya. "You heard me right though Mia, Gabrielle has an alter ego and it's me, again my name is Emeri."

I just look at her dumbfounded.

I'm not really educated about it pero alam ko na it associates with a personality disorder. Isa itong mental disorder na kung saan ang isang tao ay may dalawang personalidad but in different behavior. Each identity has its own personal history, traits, likes and dislikes.

But i have zero idea kung paano ito nangyayari o nagkakaroon ang isang tao.

"But anyway.." Lumapit sya sakin with her foxy smile. "You will know more everything about this fiesco but for now." Gabrielle stands in front of me. "I want to enjoy the night." Sabay talikod.

Nakatulala lang ako. I'm still in disbelief.

Akala ko pang books and movies lang ang mga ganitong pagkakataon. Honestly, I'm scared but hindi ko naman pwedeng pabayaan si Gabrielle or si Emeri.

"Wait!" Sigaw ko kay Emeri na papalabas na ng bathroom. Pero tuloy tuloy lang sya at hindi ako pinansin. Kaya humabol ako. "Where are you going!?"

"To get drunk Mira." Walang lingon likod na sagot nya sakin.

"Pero.."

She looks at me over her shoulder. "Shh."

At bumalik kami sa wedding event as if nothing happened. Emeri seems to know how to mimick Gabrielle. But if people look closely, mapapansin nila na ibang tao ang kanilang kasama.

Hindi ako lumayo kay Emeri the whole event to make sure she's okay. I also noticed that she's very sweet with girls, Emeri flirts with them.

What would Gabrielle say kung nakikita nya ang ginagawa ng alter ego nya?

Probably shame. Knowing Gabrielle, she's very formal.

Then i remember Gia.. Kaya pala tinanong nya sakin before if i already met Emeri. Such a relief to know na hindi lang ako ang nakakaalam sa existence ng isang Emeri sa mundo ni Gabrielle.

Ano ba tong napasukan ko? All i wanted was a decent job para makasuporta ako sa pamilya ko sa probinsya pero parang babysitter ako ngayon kay Gabrielle and Emeri.

Napatingin akong bigla sa cellphone ko when it went on. A message notification from Hazen. Icheheck ko sana nang biglang may umupo sa tabi ko.

"Why are you alone?"

Napasulyap ako sa kanya and to my surprise. "Maggie!?"

For all people, it's Maggie. I couldn't even more glad that she's here and take note. Maggie is so beautiful.

"The one and only." Nakangiting sagot ni Maggie. "Busy si Boss ah?" At pareho kaming nakatingin sa direksyon ni Gabrielle, I mean Emeri. "Kanina pa kayo dito?"
