I could say a few things about love
If you know love
You have loved
In deep gallows, no one can find
Confused by twisted shadows
Brought on by an estranged mind
Love is no game to be test
In the hearts of women and men
Love is no frivolous thing
It's certainly no contest
It brings tidal waves
On those who stand on beaches
Enduring Poseidon's wrath
Just for a chance at a little love
There you will stand for days
No food
No water
Hoping there is some mercy left
In this world
So when I say you can't love me
What I really mean to say
Is that you can't suddenly feel this way
You haven't fallen from the vine
Rushing to climb back up the hill
I wonder if you ever will
To love you must feel it
Deep in your gut
Love is no Cinderella story
It's Romeo and Juliet
Where fools wither
And victims fall
