Means nothing now
We are adults in this world
There is no room for pain or complaint
Yet
I can't help but wonder
As I look down the cold, empty road
Stretching so endlessly into the dark
My suffering is unstoppable
In comparison to what I have done to him
I am running
And I think you can feel the anger
And you can understand that I want to be alone
As I leap across buildings against the black of night
As the moon takes its rise above the sky
So it is I who will run away from these feelings
And I am better alone
I am singing and loving myself in this dark piece of night
