Angel was satisfied
He told me to relax
As we lay in the field
A breeze moved across our bodies
I turned to him
"Can I cuddle with you?" I asked him
He stared back at me
His eyes popped
"I don't know if that's a good idea" he replied
"Please, seeing that I am already dead and dying of cold"
"Well..." he sighed, and he grabbed my body and pulled it close to him
He was so warm
I smiled
This wasn't a bad place to be
"You smell good," I said
"Yeah, well you always have to be on your best behavior in this place, and it can get pretty lonely," he said, turning to me
Now I was stunned
"You're kind of pretty you know. Most of the people who come in here seem to be lacking in life but you..." he said, looking closer into my eyes, "You seem to have life lurking in your eyes. Like something hasn't been finished yet. That would explain a lot" he said
"What's not finished?"
"Would you like to remember? Or would you like to forget?" he asked.
"Remember" I answered
Then, he kissed me
Once that dream entered my brain
You were the air inside my lungs
Making me wonder more about the world
Grasping to touch the sky
Grab it and not let go
See it through to its completion
You are the sun
Your endless presence
Beautiful
Intricate thoughts
That lay in that head of yours
Making me wonder
About humans
