We were ready to go and quickly left the room ready for our day. We were starting with the pack hospital so drake showed me the way and we were greeted with a line of nurses then cleaners and a team of 5 doctors. We started by shaking everyone's hand and getting congratulations from each of them for finding each other. When we got to the doctors they explained that there was actually a team of 15. And a smaller team of 10 junior doctors. We walked through the halls and for a pack hospital it was actually quite big. They showed us the way to the operation rooms. There was one taking place as we spoke. Then they brought us to the children's ward and I was happy to see it was very empty other then a few broken bones luckily the kids of the pack seemed very healthy. Finally we were brought to the nursery and there was a row of 3 baby's lined up while there mothers rested I smiled and drake put a hand on my belly. Then we were lead into a room and it was just me and drake and 1 doctor. She told me she wanted to check my blood levels as I was very pale and to feel around my stomach to make sure the pregnancy was going well. She even done a scan where she had to insert a stick inside me as she pointed to the screen. She said it was to early to really see anything other then a peanut but she wanted to make sure everything looked ok. When she was done she handed me vitamins and strict instructions to do very little until I felt less tired. She said I looked like my iron was low so I took them happily before leaving the hospital and going to the pack schools. Starting with the youngsters and following with the high school, there was only a few hundred kids but I loved the idea that all the kids in the pack got a full free education close to home without having to worry about exposing us to the humans. When we were done we had a few hours before it was time to go to the orphanage as most of the kids were at school for a few more hours so we would wait until before bedtime to go visit there. Drake decided it would be a good time to eat lunch at his favourite place then take a few hours to go shopping for nursery ideas. We had a wonderful lunch then arrived at a baby supply store. We looked at different furniture and I decided I wanted a next to me crib for our bedroom before the baby moved into it's own nursery. It was the only thing we bought as I got very excited when I seen it. We didn't buy anything else because Emma and me had planned to arrange a joint baby shower so we would wait until after that to buy any last bits that we needed. Then drake took me to a jewellery shop pulling me in I giggled the man had more jewellery then the queen of England
"Come I want to buy us matching watches" he said with a grin
"You already got me a watch drake" pointing to my Michael kors watch that I had become quite found of
"Ino but this is a wedding/ceremony present from me for us" he beamed
"Well if that's the case let's go" I giggled as we walked in a small old man who was clearly a wolf nodded at us "mr drake lovely to see you again"
"Thank you boris. I'm in to see the watches"
"Ahh ofcourse, please sit down il be right over" we sat at a small desk and Boris came out with a large case with 2 watches I instantly bit my lip when I seen they were Rolex's watches and he pulled out a pair of silver watches. He handed me the most beautiful watch iv ever seen inscribed on the watch face was an inscription from drake "to MY Luna lilly, when you look at this know you are forever MINE. love from YOUR soulmate Drake" I read it out loud and tears sprung to my eyes "oh Drake I love it" the face of the watch was surrounded by diamonds and the links that held the watch together had small inscriptions in each one "I love you" "soulmate" "MINE" "forever yours" each side of every inscription had a single diamond it was truly beautiful.
"It is water proof so you never need to take it of, and it is shatter proof. It also has a quick release so if you need to turn in a hurry it won't ever break. If that does happen there is a tracker built in so we can find it and if anything else ever happens I can get to you ASAP" he said proudly.
"Drake I'm speechless I love it thank you so much, is yours the same?"
"Yes it is but I haven't had it inscribed yet I thought you might want to personalise it yourself"
"Ok well I want the links to be the same and the inside I want 'to MY alpha drake. When you look at this know your are forever MINE. Love from YOUR soulmate & Luna lilly' is that ok? I love what you've said and I don't want to change it"
"It's perfect baby. I'm so happy you like it. Boris can you please do as the Luna says and make sure there is a tracker on mine also then lilly never has to worry about where I am"
I smiled and lay on drake taking in his scent wondering what I done to deserve such an amazing mate. Drake placed the watch on my hand kissing each finger as he went. "Let's go lilly before I make love to you right hear and scare Boris for life" I went bright red and giggled poor Boris got completely embarrassed and I dragged Drake out of the shop before he made good on his promise. We got into the back of the car waiting for us and drake pulled me into his knee as we lay enjoying each other's scent kissing each other the hole way home.
When we got out at the orphanage there was a few staff waiting out the front one had a baby crying bloody murder she was standing beside some older kids. We shook there hands and walked down the line until we got to the baby "what's wrong with him"
"Hey Luna. Unfortunately this little one hasn't stopped crying since he was born 2 weeks ago. He has hardly slept since the day he opened his eyes. His mother was an alphas daughter from another pack there was no one else who could take him so he was sent here. She was an addict and died giving birth to him. We think he might be coming down of drugs himself"
Both mine and drakes breathe hitched while listening to her over the cries. I instantly held my hands out to take him, she gladly handed him over obviously ready for a break. Once he was in my arms he stopped crying and i had this overflowing sense of love for this little boy. He instantly relaxed in my arms and fell asleep.
"Wow Luna that's incredible. Would you like me to take him and put him down to sleep"
"No way he can stay right here in my arms" I looked up at drake who had tears in his eyes smiling down at me. He ushered me on saying hello to the rest of the staff. Then we went and looked at the facility. The entire time I got shocked gasps at the sight of the baby boy sleeping in my arms. We met so many kids it was heartbreaking but every single one where happy. Finally we made it to the older kids rooms and I sat with a few talking about everything. A few 15 year olds were talking to me "so what is your plans after school?" I asked them
"We will all probably move into the adult home at 16 until we finish school then we will go on to be omegas" this hurt my heart "what's your grades like?" A few mumbled and told me they were mostly just getting through school and were more excited to meet a mate and work to have a family not caring about there future but one girl in particular had the best grades iv ever heard "and what is it you would like to do when your older?"
"My dream is to become a doctor but il have to go on to be an omega until I can afford to go to school"
"That's very ambitious of you. And when do you start work as omegas?"
"When we turn 16. It's going to be hard to work full time and complete school but I'm determined to become a pack doctor. It's been my dream since I can remember"
I smiled at her as drake came to take me to move on "thanks so much for talking to me it really helped me understand everything"
We were leaving and I had to hand the baby back but when I did he started to scream again the stress on my face must have been obvious because drake took the baby and handed him back to me and once again he stopped his cries. The lady raised her eyebrows at me "maybe Luna you could babysit for the night? I know the kids could all do with a break from the crying?"
"Am I aloud to do that?" I smiled wide and so did drake just staring at us "of course you can Luna your both the ones who have legal custody of the kids as you own and run this place. We are just here to babysit until you both transfer custody over to adoptive parents"
"I had no idea ofcourse I will take him with me then, drake is that ok?"
"It's definitely ok baby, where does he sleep and what does he eat" he looked back at the lovely lady
"He's not due food for another 2 hours so why don't yous take him home and I will get his things packed up and I will personally deliver it and show you how you make a bottle and bath him. Should that be ok alpha?"
"That would be wonderful thank you Ellen" he said grinning from ear to ear. We took a few nappies and baby wipes then left to go home. In the car drake took him and he fell asleep so peacefully he was like a different child then what he was like in the orphanage. Drake just held him staring into his face with so much love then he pulled me closer looked me in the eyes "lilly, what should we call him? I know we are not meant to name him but I don't want to call him baby when he's with us" I smiled I never thought of that "how about Noah, I think he looks like a Noah"
"Noah. Noah yes he looks like a Noah. Noah it is" he said grinning down at him
