The start...

Dad instantly looked horrified and stood back with his hands up

"Son I would never lay a finger on her you know that"

Caden pulled back, letting a breath out, pulling me into his chest roughly.

"I see what she sees now. This was necessary. Everything she does has been to protect you and this pack since she was just 5 years old! all she has ever done was for her people. What she saw! What is coming! This was not just necessary, This had to happen! Because even the smallest things that she does for this pack makes us stronger than any other. Don't question your Luna, my mate or your daughter again. and don't ever expect me to overrule her. she sees what only she can see! and the only way to survive what is coming it to push the boundaries of our laws and let the world see what we are truly capable off and what we would truly do to protect not just this pack but every pack"

Mum steps forward with her hands out. Her face pale with worry.

"May I see Baylee?"

I nodded and poked my head out of cadens hold. She took it in her hands. I watched as her face contorted in a mixture of pain and terror. When she let go she heaved and ran to the bin getting sick. Dad was by her side in a second

"Love what is it? Are you ok?"

She lifted her head and looked at me. Tears streamed down her face. She looked broken. She ignored dad and walked up to me and fell to her knees in front of me.

"I will stand with you. I will never question you. I trust you"

Dad looked at her in confusion. Caden held his hand out and helped mum to her feet. He kissed her cheek

"Thank you"

His words barely above a whisper. She nods and takes dad by the hands and shows him the vision. He pales instantly and he looks 10 years older than what he is.

When he pulls away he looks at us both. His eyes wide. Grief written all over his face. He falls to the ground.

"Wherever you go I will follow. Whatever you do I will support you. I won't ever question you again"

I stood forward and smiled at them both. Although I know it never reached my eyes

"You're my parents. It's your job to ask questions and I'm ok with that. I just ask that when I do something that you trust that I'm doing it for the right reasons"

Dad stood up and pulled me into a hug. Mum soon joined us. After a minute I pulled back and led Caden to a seat at the table and I crawled on his knee in silence.

"Call all the ranked members. Mum you need to show them"

After that I zoned out. I thought of each vision in-depth. I wondered if they were in order. Iv never been able to change the future before and iv never felt the need to. But this was different. This wasn't war. This was carnage. What they did wasn't just war. It was torture, it was hell on earth. I started with the first vision. I paid attention to each detail as I watched it play out.

It was summer. I could feel the heat on my skin. The air is thick with humidity. It was early in the morning. Around 8 or 9am. I listened to the noises Around me. I could hear a tick tick tick.. I zeroed in on the sound as I watched a car drive past going to the lake.

I saw the happy Kids in the back seat. They waved at me. The sound got louder as the car passed. But as the car stopped it blew to pieces sending everyone into a crazed panic.

That was it. That was the moment I had to stop. They stopped the car and it blew up. Maybe if I could make them continue to drive it wouldn't blow up? But how to defuse a bomb as they drive? Is that even possible? This is human war not wolf war but it's obvious the humans don't care. They never did. How could they let kids die. How could they murder them.
