Cadens POV

When dad hangs up, my jaw is on the floor. I look at Baylee and I'm instantly on guard. I can't believe what I just heard. But I'm so glad I know. I'm so glad I can be here to protect them. The last piece of my father. I link Baylee and tell her we need to go straight away and make sure we aren't followed. As we get into the car I avoid telling the kids anything. That will have to wait.

On the way to the villa I tell Baylee everything through mind link and her eyes widen in shock. We agree we can't trust the car service so when we get back we tell him we won't be needing him until tomorrow again. We run straight into the house and change the kids into clean clothes. Then pack our stuff and ring a cab. We put hats and glasses on the kids and tell them they need to not talk until we get to where we are going and if they listen they get a big surprise each.

Before we go near the cab I check the area. It seems to be clear so we put the kids in the cab and get the man to drive us to the public airport. We watch the entire way to make sure there's no one following us. But I noticed a rusty red car 3 cars back. I tell Lilly and we decide to take a detour to a local park. The cabby does what we tell him and it's obvious we're being followed. I pay the man and lift the kids. Baylee takes the bags and we run. We go to public toilets and wait.

"James, Megan. A bad man is following us. So you need to stay here with Baylee. She will keep you safe but I need you both to listen to her. If she tells you to cover your ears you need to do it straight away. When it's safe we are going to go on holiday and you're going to stay with me and Baylee. Is that ok?"

They start to jump up and down and clap their hands. I smile at them, they are cute.

"Now we need to be very quiet until your brother makes sure the bad man is gone, ok?"

She looks to me and she's in a daze then she snaps out of it.

"To the left side of the toilets. Kill him il sort the other"

They both huddle into my beautiful mate. Fuck she is perfect. Why was I so stupid? She is going to make an amazing mum but I'm not ready to share her. Not now. Possible not ever but eventually I will. I'll give her as many pups as she wants if it brings a smile to her perfect face. I'm pulled out of my daze by a sound not far from me. I roll my eyes at the worst possible stalker ever. He's trying to sneak up by the tree line but he's making so much noise. Has he never been trained before?

I nod to Baylee and kiss her forehead as I pass her by. I walk out behind the stupid fucker and take him by the scruff of the neck and slam him against a large tree.

"Why are you following us"

I say calmly but deadly just like dad taught me. I release the death grip on his neck slightly so he can talk

"Because I was told to"

"By who! Are you alone"

He squints everytime I throw my aura at him.

"No, there's another in the car. Jake the boss. He said to report back on where you go and what you do but not to touch you just watch"

"Are there any more cars following us?"

"Not that I know of"

Hell this is too easy. I don't like that. Something is off. I don't waste any time and break his neck with my hand. It snaps like a twig. It makes me smile a happy smile. I drop him and head back on alert until I hear a struggle so I run. As I round the corner Baylee has the kids safely behind her. and the man against the wall.

Fuck she is amazing. Look at that form she's a fucking pro. The kids don't seem fazed. I watch her in awe as she questions the man. She unleashes her aura on him. Now we are mates, our aura seem's to have gotten stronger than before.
