Chapter 13

Standing at the top of the aisle at my fathers side I watched the beautiful Lisa walk towards him. She was breathtaking in a simple white dress. She had bright olive eyes and long dark hair, she was curvy and short and the simple dress came to her knees flowing over her growing bump. She wanted a simple wedding having already done it before. Unfortunately her first mate had passed away and she was so amazed to have found a second and I was so so happy for them both. The ceremony was simple with just a few friends and family attending, we had dinner outside under moonlight so when it was done I asked Sarah to take the kids to bed. We danced and we laughed and we listened to stories as the night ended we were about to go home when a guard linked myself and drake "we are being ambushed. There's to many of them and they got through. There coming fast. I'm so sorry I couldn't stop them" drake instantly came to my side "Caden we are being ambushed. Go to the kids lock the door and protect your brother and sisters please" he was terrified but walked up to us "it's ok son. We love you" "I love you both to" I kissed him on the cheek and drake patted his back and he took of running to the house he took Lisa with him as she was the only one not able to fight "ok get ready I hear them they are coming" we all stood in a circle and fiona, Ben and Emma shifted as the crowd of rouges came towards us and we fought.

I touched as many rouges as possible and put them on there knees while drake fought around me protecting my back. One after the other. he was jumped but he fought well and I done my best to touch any injured rouges so they were unable to get back up even if they tried letting each of them feel a pain they have never imagined before. Guards started to arrive jumping in to join the battle but we were surrounded and completely took of guard but thankfully the training we all received prepared us for everything. Matt fought well ripping the heads of rouges and moving on to the next one , Ben and fiona killed one after the other but dad was hurt and in pain so I ran to him touching as many rouges on my way as possible. When I got there his leg was broken so I touched him hiding his pain so he could make it to somewhere safe "I love you" I nodded and kissed him but as I turned I heard "nooooooo" then i felt a sharp pain and blackness started to take over as I watched drake being jumped with his arm stretched out towards me. I tried to reach him but I was to late "I lovvv" then I was gone.
I woke up dizzy on a bed in the hospital I jumped to my feet almost falling but Emma caught me "get back in bed we need to talk" she said it softly but seriously then she took a breath as I sat down on the bed "we have lost 2 guards. James and Mike. We have a lot injured some severely others barely"
"Where is he emma" she turned away from me but I grabbed her pulling her to face me "WHERE. IS. HE" she took a breath "all the kids are fine. No rouges got near the house" "emma" by now I was crying I couldn't stand this "please"
"Lilly he was taken. Captured. They tried to take you but drake commanded everyone to protect you and there was to many of them. They completely overwhelmed us and they got the better of him. He shouted to tell him "it's ok she will find me. Tell her I love her and she can do this" I had tears streaming down my face by now but his words cut deep so I shook my head and got of the bed "bring me to my father" she lead me to him and I ran hugging him and letting a few tears fall before gathering myself together again and I put my hand on his leg healing him "it's healed. I might need to do it in a few days again to strengthen the leg but you will be able to do everything. Can you help me get him back dad" I could hardly say the last words "babe you know I will. We are going to find him. Now help me up we need to meet the rest of the pack" I helped dad from the bed and Lisa gave him a hug in amazement but I just smiled and walked out I couldn't handle small talk right now. I got to the kitchen where a tired looking Evelyn stood "Luna the coffee is nearly ready sit down il bring over the pot"
"Thank you. Where is everyone?"
"They went to the office after the.. I haven't seen them since" I nodded and linked them asking to meet me in the dinning room.
