Florence's pov:
i'm at the Jimmy Fallon show tonight and it's going pretty well!
"so, you and y/n are the most popular celebrity couple, how is y/n, we haven't seen you two together in a while, is everything okay?" jimmy asks

oh i knew this was going to get brought up
"we're great actually, she is currently on her 3rd toor, working on the front line in the army" i say, which gets an applause from the audience "well we are very grateful for all you and y/n do for our country" jimmy says with a smile.
it's pretty hard to talk about, i love y/n so much, but it's her dream job to work in the army and i can't take that away from her.
"she comes back in 3 months tho, so it's something to look forward to" i say, a few tears falling down my face and Jimmy gives me a box of tissues which i happily take off him

"so your in Little Women?" Jimmy says  "yes! it was so much to film" i reply putting the tissues down

y/n pov:
i am backstage at the Jimmy Fallon show, about to surprise my girlfriend Flo. i'm in my army uniform with my hair in a low bun at the bottom of my head. she started crying when Jimmy brought me up and it was so hard not to run up to her and comfort her, but i just need to wait for Jimmy to say his line then i walk out.

"so your in Little Women?"

that's my cue, i put my army hat on and the song 'i'm coming home' (you know the song they play when people from front line come home and see family) starts playing. i walk out onto the stage...

Flo turns around and looks at me, runs up and jumps into my arms, legs wrapped around my waist and her hands around my neck. she was crying as was i then she pulls out the hug and kisses me. we kiss for a solid 30 seconds, but then pull away remembering we are on live tv. she just hugs back into me and whispers in my ear
"i love you"
"i love you more" i say and the crowd is awing and cheering and Jimmy looks like he is about to cry.

"ive missed you y/n" she says still hugging me
"ive missed you too Flo"   i say and kiss her on the head
