Florence pov: so basically, y/n is being a bit off lately. and by off i mean, ignoring my kisses! we've been dating for 2 and a half years now, and she has never done this before, here's some examples:
last week~ i came in from work and y/n was sat on the sofa "hey babe" i greet her with "hi" she replies, smiling at me, then looking back at the tv. i sit next to her and lean in for a kiss, she just got up and went to the kitchen before i could kiss her!
4 days ago~ "babe" i shout from upstairs "yes hunny?" y/n replies with from downstairs. "do you know where my shampoo is? it's not in the bathroom" i don't hear anything then y/n comes upstairs and walks past me opens the top draw in our bedroom and gets my shampoo and hands it to me "there you go love" she says with a smile "thank you y/n/n" i kiss her on the cheek as i walk past to go to the bathroom, i turn back to see her wiping it off!
yesterday~ "babe!" y/n said to me "what!?" i say confused "we are the top couple on 'best celeb couples'" she starts jumping up and down and i do too! i go to kiss her but she moves out of the way
*present day* see what i mean!! i don't know what i've done? and on cue y/n walks through the door "oh my god you won't believe the day i've had" she began saying "oh what's wrong?" i ask, putting the kissing thing to the back of my mind for now as she seems really upset.
"well for starters" she sits on my lap hugging me "the coffee shop i went to was out of my favourite drink, so i had to get a coffee instead and then someone bumped into me and i got burned by the coffee" she starts to sob a little "then when i got to work, i was late and someone had moved all my work and put it in the shredder by 'accident', i know it was Carol who did it on purpose though, then my boss asked what happened and why i was late, i explained and he said 'wow you can't just take responsibility for your own mistakes" she was full on crying now "so i got fired, then my dad rang me to say, him and my stepmum are moving house, so now i don't have my childhood house anymore" she stops and just cries into my shoulder. "oh babe, i'm so sorry" i say trying to comfort her "no you've done nothing wrong, i keep being distant as well! it was because of the stupid job that i just got fired from" wow that explains it. "oh babe, don't worry, that job didn't deserve you anyway, and i'm sure your dad will let you have one last night in your childhood home" i say and she slows down her crying and wiped her face, she pulled out of the hug and looked me in the eyes,
"i love you Flo" "i love you y/n/n" she kissed me and it was the best kiss we have had in a long time...
