a/n thank you to the people who said you can do 200 chapters, that means I can do loads more till I do a pt 2 of flo one shots!!

y/n pov:
"is there a team meeting today?" I asked Wanda. "I don't think it's a meeting, apparently it's an announcement" she answered. as if on cue, Steve, Tony and Nat all walked through the door and Tony said "announcement guys" causing me and Wanda to giggle.

"we have a new avenger joining us" Steve said to; Sam, Carol, Bucky, Pietro, Thor, Bruce, Wanda and I. "who?" Pietro asked in his thick sokovian accent. "well if you shut up and listen we'll find out brother" Wanda states. "you guys don't know her, but y/n, you do" Nat says looking at me, causing everyone else to look at me in questioning. "don't look at me I have no clue" I said. "that's the point, it's a surprise, for your birthday" Tony said. "so the new recruit is for y/n?" Sam asked. "oh no, they're skilled, but y/n has a good connection with them, or did" Nat said smirking. "eh, im so confused" I said.

A little background story about me, I was in the red room since I was very young, I started at 4. In there We were trained non stop, beaten and controlled, till we were set free, everyone went their separate ways, for safety, that's when I joined the avengers.

"when are they coming?" Bucky asked. "soon, y/n, as this is for your birthday, you'll get clues" Steve said. "clues? you think I can be arsed with shitty clues" I said and everyone laughed. "trust me y/n, you'll love the recruit" Nat said.

"go on then, what's my first clue" I said, putting my legs on top of Wanda's legs. "it's someone from your childhood" Steve said. "didn't get a childhood mate, must be mistaking me for someone else" I said sarcastically. "second clue, it's a girl" Steve said. "OoOoO is she hot?" I asked, once again, causing everyone to laugh. "final clue, which will give it away" Nat said, then paused. "Jarvis, play the song" she finished and the AI started playing

A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

"awh I love this song!" I said.

But February made me shiver
With every paper I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step

"do you not know who it links to?" Nat asked

I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside

"um" I tried to think.

The day the music died

"HOLY SHIT NO WAY" I said remembering, I jumped up and looked around for her.

So bye-bye, Miss American Pie

then the main doors opened and she was there, I ran faster than Pietro, and jumped into her arms.

"hey darling" she said looking at me. I jumped down. "Yelena" I said as she put her hands on my waist, then I wrapped my arms around her neck. "i've missed you moya lyubov" she said, getting closer to me, which I didn't even think was possible. "long time no see beautiful" I said, then she connected our lips, and we had a passionate kiss. until we remembered everyone else was still stood there.

"hey hey hey, don't swallow each other, we're still here" Carol said. which made us stop and giggle a little. "I love you Lena" I said quietly resting my forehead on hers. "I love you my love" she said almost whispering.
