"*deadname*, could you pass the remote?" my dad asked me. I'm not answering him. I'm sick of him calling me by my deadname. I'm a boy now, not a girl. "keep that name out of your mouth" Yelena said walking up from behind me. "they're my daughter, I call her whatever I like" He said. I hate this, my name is y/n. "his name is y/n, and he's my boyfriend, call him by his proper name you dick" Yelena said sitting next to me and putting her arm around me. "ok, sorry y/n" my dad corrected.

MTF:
y/n pov:

I am working in the lab with Bruce when he starts talking, "hey, *deadname* do you want me to order in food" he said. I didn't turn around, im sick of not being called by my real name. "Bruce, it's y/n actually" my girlfriend says as she walks in and wraps her arm around me. "wait what?" he asked. "her name is y/n, my girlfriend, please call her by the correct name" she told him. "oh sorry, y/n, do you want food ordered in" He re phrased. "um yeah could we get mack and cheese?" I asked. "ILL HAVE SOME" Yelena jumped in.

NON BINARY:

"you need to punch harder *deadname*" Steve says as I punch the punching bag in front of me. "it's y/n" I mumble. "what?" he asked, trying to clarify what I said. "it's y/n Rogers" Yelena says walking into the training room. "what? no her/his name is *deadname*" He states, as if it's true. "no Steve, THEIR name is y/n, pronouns they or them, my partner, name them correctly you basterd" She said with a stern face. "back in my day-" he starts but Yelena kicks him in the balls. "you miss gender them again and I will kick you back to your day" Yelena says, taking my arm and leading my to our room. "I love you babe" I said. "I love you more darling" my girlfriend said then gave me a kiss.
