y/n pov: "Brie, how about you buy a fish?" I suggested. "fish are a bit boring don't you think?" she replied. i'm out with Brie today for a girls day! we've came across a pet shop and Brie has been saying for a long time that she has wanted a new pet, so we're looking for one!
"well the only think left is snakes and dogs" I said as we walked to the dog isle, there was 3 little puppies playing in the pen, but there was an even littler one at the back of the pen. "oh my god how cute" I said pointing to the dog that kept looking at me. "awh y/n he's adorable!" Brie exclaimed. I walked over to the dog and looked at his collar, "Blaze" I read out loud. Blaze jumped up and down, then did spins, it looked like he was trying to impress me.
"oh Brie I have to take him home with me" I said. "wait what?" she asked. "I love him" I said giving him a kiss on the nose. After sorting out all the papers, I had my new best friend.
"how will Flo react?" Brie asked me. "oh shit" I cursed to myself. Flo! I didn't even think! "oh no" I said panicking. "hey y/n don't worry, she loves animals, I'm sure she'll be fine!" she said comfortingly. "if you say so" I said
Once I had dropped Brie off at her house I drove home. I opened the door an braced myself. "baby" I said. "kitchen!" she replied and I asked to the kitchen. "hey" I said putting Blaze on the floor. "did I miss a chapter?!" she asked confused. "this is Blaze" I said as he ran around the house. "i'm sorry, he was just all alone and he's so cute, and I wanted him to have a good home with us, I'm sorry that I didn't ask you, i've been panicking about it all the way home but-" I kept rambling until I was cut off by Flo kissing me, after she slowly pulled away she said "It's alright baby!"
"we can be a little family" she smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek, then ran over to Blaze. "a little family" I said to myself...
