"todays assignment is to write a story about a mythical creature, it can be an already made up one, like a dragon or a unicorn, or you can make a new one up, but it's needs to be in by the end of the week please!" i said as the bell rings and my students leave. i'm an english teacher at Stonwall High. i teach top set and i love my job. my wife Florence, is an actress, which everyone in the school knows. when everyone first found other it was a big thing, but a couple months later and it's old news.

i get in the house and say "i'm home love" as i take my coat and shoes off and put my bags away. "i'm in the kitchen babe!" i hear my wife shout. i walk through to our kitchen to see what looks like an explosion. "what went on here?" i asked laughing. "i was mixing the flour and sugar together but put the beater on a too high setting, so it went, well, everywhere" she said laughing. i walk up to her and wipe the flour and sugar mixture off Flo's face with my hands. "there's my beautiful wife" i say and give her a kiss. "now, lets get this cleaned up" i say.

"so how was work?" Flo asked sitting next to me on the couch while i un paused The Great British Bake Off on the tv. "it was pretty good actually, except from when a year 8 girl threw up all over one of the the outside benches" i explained. "well that sounds wonderful" Flo said sarcastically and we both giggle. we sit in a comfortable silence for 5 minutes or so, then Flo bursts out with "oh my goodness, your supposed to whip it not freeze it you twat!" at the baker on tv, causing us both to die with laughter.

*the next day*

"right so now everyone get their books out and turn to page 113 please" i said to my class. then i noticed one of my students, Lili raised her hand. "yes Lili?" i asked turning away from my computer. "you collected the books in yesterday Mrs and said you would give them back today" she reminded me. shit! "oh yes i did didn't i, well everyone can get their laptops out and continue the assignment about your mythical creature story for the moment please, and for those of you who haven't started, this would be a great chance" i instructed my class.

what am i going on do?! we need to read this next chapter or we will be behind the rest of the classes!

as if on cue, Florence walks through the door with the bag of books in. "hey love, you forgot these at home, i didn't know if you needed them" she said and walked over to my desk. her entrance caused my class to start a bit of a chatter. "oh thanks babe your a life saver!" i said giving her a kiss on the cheek and taking the bag. a few of the kids in my class made 'ooo-ing' sounds at me kissing Flo's cheek which i give a glare to. "right, calm this chatter down please and get back to your assignments, Lili and Cole come here please" i said. the two students walked over to me and Florence. "can you two hand out these books please and i will be outside" i said, getting up and handing the bag to the pair.

"right my love, i best be getting off" Flo says when we've left the room. "thanks for dropping them off babe" i said then gave her a kiss, then she walked off.
