a/n wow sorry about the last chapter, tbf I don't really know what I was trying to do ahahah

y/n pov:
I banged on the door. "open the door please" I asked putting my head against the bathroom door. Dani had a very toxic relationship before we got together and she's still recovering, but when anyone says anything about her ex or about what happened on a trip she went on, she stressed out. She ran up to the bathroom after someone shouted his name at her to piss her off. it's really not funny, she hurts herself over it. "Dani open the door" I banged on it again and I could hear the cabinets opening and shutting.

"please Dani, come out, I love you" I said resting my head on the door. I wish I could take away all the pain she has from the past, but I can't. "Dan" I said in a low voice knocking on the door again. I still got no response. "I love you babe, and I'm here for you" I said sitting, with my back resting against the bathroom door. "i'm sorry" she said through the door. I could hear her muffled cries and all I wanted to do was give her a hug. "baby, you have nothing to be sorry about, open the door and we can watch a movie or something together" I suggested. "why is it like this?" she asked, I could hear something dropping on the floor. "is everything okay in there?" I asked. "why am I like this?" she said.

"Dani, listen to me, your the most energetic, beautiful, funny, exciting person I know, and I love you more than life itself, so please just open the door" I said standing up and resting my head on the door again. I heard the cabinet door shut, then the bathroom door opened and Dani looked at me, tears in her eyes. "can I have a hug please?" she asked. "of course gorgeous" I smiled softly and gave her a hug, "I love you" she said, muffled into my shoulder. "I love you more beautiful" I replied giving her a kiss on the head
