y/n pov: it's December 24th and the time is 9:37pm. i love Christmas as much as the next person but Flo, well, if she could, would probably marry it. "babe, we need to put the cookies out for Santa" she exclaimed. "babe, you know Santa isn't real" i said. "i know but i just want to eat the cookies" she giggled. "your such a kid" i laughed, getting up and taking the home made Christmas cookies to Flo, we settled down and began watching The Nightmare Before Christmas.
once it had finished Flo was practically asleep, with her head on my shoulder, so i carried her up bridal style to our room. then i came back down and set out the Christmas presents i had bought for Flo, she wakes up earlier than me and puts mine out in the morning. then i head up into bed, as soon as i lie down, Flo wraps her arms around me, i'm not complaining though!
the next morning i heard a voice whispering "babe" "babe" "baby wake up" in my ear. the voice of my girlfriend. my eyes started to flutter open to see Flo and she was smiling at me. "ITS CHRISTMAS" she belted out as soon as my eyes were fully open, she started dancing around the room. "ahaha Merry Christmas babe" i said. "but what time is it?" i asked, as it was still dark outside. "6:30" she said "but i've been up since 5 preparing everything for today" she finished. "come on then, let's get ready then we'll go open the presents"
it's been an hour and Flo is opening her last gift. "awh babe i love it" she said lifting up the new necklace i bought her. "i'm glad you like it love" i said giving her a kiss. "now can we watch a Christmas movie?" she asks. "of course, what do you want to watch?" i asked. "Home Alone-" i cut her off. "but babeeee i hate that movie" i said. then looked at her puppy dog eyes and gave in "fine" i said and she giggled and jumped onto the couch and patted the space next to her.
where almost finished Home Alone when the doorbell rings. "i'll get it" i said so i could escape this awful movie. i open the door to see 2 friendly face. Sebastian and Raffie, Flo's brother and sister. "Merry Christmas guys come on in" i said opening the door so they can come in. "Merry Christmas y/n" Raffie said and then she gave me a hug, then Sebastian did the same. we all gathered in the living room and just talked. Flo had her head on my shoulder causing Raffie to say "omg you two make me feel so singleee" to which we all laughed at.
every Christmas our family comes to our house, this year my parents are in Spain with my brothers and sisters, with the rest of my family and Florence's Parents had gone to California for Christmas. so this year we had a lot less people around.
but none the less, i had Florence <33
