"I miss her" I blurted out, looking at a picture of her on the wall in the main room as we are all eating breakfast. "who?" Sam asked. "y/n you idiot" I snarled. "we all do" Steve said trying to make me feel better. "no! you don't miss her like I do" I looked down. "you okay?" my sister asked rubbing my back. "no actually, I feel like shit, thanks for asking" I said getting up and sitting on the couch.

the others thought they were being quiet but I could clearly hear them. "she could still be alive" Wanda tried to stay positive. "not likely, its been 2 years" Tony said sadly. we all knew she was never coming back, but I just didn't want to admit it.

*3 years later*
were at one of Starks parties, but everyone has left except the avengers, as it's 1:26am. When suddenly the door opened and...

holy shit. it couldn't be. it cant be. "y/n?" I asked. "sorry Wands, the store was out of rocky road ice cream" she said putting her bag down and sitting next to me on the couch. I think everyone was just so confused, that we just looked at her in silence. "is there something on my face?" she asked looking at me. "no gorgeous, but you've been missing for the last 5 years" I explained.

"what?" she tilted her head confused
