party <3 - Yelena

a/n I hope this is okay :))

y/n pov:
I put on a black silk dress with spaghetti straps and black heels on. Tonight it's mine and my brother's birthday party. we're turning 100 so it's a big thing. oh wait did I forget to mention I was trapped in ice for 70 years with my brother's best friend? yeah well that happened. if you don't count the time in the ice i'm only 30, but we're making it our 100th.

"hey Jarvis, where is Bucky?" I asked the AI. "your brother is in his room miss Barnes" he replied. "thank you!" I said making sure I looked alright, then I walked over to Bucky's room. I knocked on the door and he opened it and had a big smile on his face. "my baby sister looks stunning" he said giving me a hug. "we're twins!" I said pulling out the hug. "well i'm older" he said shutting his bedroom door. "by 9 minutes!" I laughed.

I linked arms with him and we walked to the party room. as soon as we walked in confetti flew everywhere and everyone shouted "happy birthday!!" it was decorated beautifully, there was black gold and silver balloons, a big light spelling out 100, a food bar, an actual bar, banners, and a whole hell of a lot of people.

I walked over to Nat and gave her a hug. "you look gorgeous!!" she said. "have you saw yourself!!" I said referring to her beautiful dress. I looked around, for one girl. "she's at the bar" Nat said raising an eyebrow. "how do you know who I was looking for" I giggled. "you like her, it's not rocket science" Nat smirked. "oh shut up" I rolled my eyes playfully and walked over to the bar. Before I could sit next to Yelena, Wanda hugged me. "you look beautiful!!" she complemented. "you too Wands!!" I smiled.

"let's dance!" she said trying to get me to go to the dance floor. "but-" I said looking over her shoulder at Lena, who was giving Wanda a death stare. "come on y/n! i'm your best friend, you can't say no!" she persuaded. "fine" I laughed and we walked over to the dance floor.

after a while I got tired and walked over to a table to sit down. "hey y/n" Nat said sitting at one side of me, and Carol sat at the other side. "hey y/n" Carol smiled. "Hey Carol" I said resting my head on her shoulder. "why aren't you up having fun?" Nat asked. "because the only person I want to dance with is over there and wouldn't dare get on the dance floor with me" I said putting my bottom lip out. "we can help with that" they smirked.

but before I could question what they were on about, they had got up and went to the stage. "hi everyone! we're going to do the cake now" Nat announced. I got up and walked over to this table with a half purple half black cake, purple for me, and black for Buck. Carol lit the candles with her hand. "happy birthday to you" everyone started and Bucky and I walked closer to the cake. "happy birthday to you" everyone sang. "happy birthday dear y/n and Bucky, happy birthday to youuuu" they finished and we blew out the candles and they all clapped.

"we're going to do a slow dance!" Carol announced. "isn't that a thing at weddings?" Bucky asked. "shut up James" I nudged him in the arm. "everyone find a partner and get on the dance floor!" she finished. I went straight to the bar. she was sat there, she look a bit tipsy. "Lena?" I said sitting in front of her. "hey birthday girl, you look beautiful" she said standing up to give me a hug. "wanna dance?" I asked. wow I can't believe I just did that. "I don't really da-" she was about to finished when Nat pushed her in the back. "i'd love to" she smiled.

she took my arm to the dance floor and I had my hands around the back her neck and she put her hands on my waist. "you look stunning tonight Lena" I smiled shyly. "it's a big party isn't it" Yelena said trying to start conversation. "mhm" I agreed. "socially awkward twats" Nat said walking past me. she went up onto the announcement stand again with Carol. "everyone do a joined dance and whoever you end up with at the end you have to kiss!" Carol said into the mic. "this is becoming a thing to get you and Yelena together isn't it" Bucky whispered into my ear once everyone found a new partner. "apparently" I giggled. I danced with Carol first, then I went along the line to Steve, "hey y/n! I haven't really saw you tonight" he laughed. "I know, a lot has been happening" I smiled, then went to the next person who was some random girl, next it was Wanda "Wanda!" I exclaimed. "Nat told me about the plan! I can't wait!" she said excitedly, "what plan?" I asked confused. "the plan to get you and Yelena together, but she didn't get a chance to finish because some guy pushed me out the way to start dancing with her, so then I to Tony. "hey T" I said as he spun me around. "hey sweetheart, it's crazy, I consider you my daughter and your turning 100" he laughed. "I know right" I laughed with him

then I got pulled by the waist and came face to face with her again. "hey, again" I nervous laughed, as Yelena snaked her arms around my back. then the music stopped. I looked around and everyone was kissing the person who they were with.

now is my chance...
