a/n i literally just thought of this aha

y/n pov:
it's 2am and i'm having a great dream about walking around the beach with my girlfriend Florence, when i wake up to a ringing noise. i sit up in my bed and see my phone lighting up. i reach over to it and see the name 'babe❤️' is trying to facetime

Florence is in America at the moment filming Midsummar, while i'm in England filming my new movie 'road kill' so we are both in different time zones.

i pick up my phone and press answer. "hi babe!!" Florence says, then realises it's dark on my screen. "hi babe" i say yawning. "oh sorry babe, i forgot about the time difference" she says sitting down on the table in her trailer. "no babe, don't worry, i love speaking to you" i say turning my bedside lamp on so she can see me. "there's my beautiful girl" she says and i just smile. "you look beautiful Flo, how's filming going?" i complement then ask her. "it's going great, we're probably just over half way of filming" she says smiling. "that's good, how long will you be i need you home i miss you. i'm lonelyyy" i say. "oh babe, i miss you too! i'll be around 4 to 5 months" she says. "months?!" i repeated.

"yeah, i'm sorry babe, how about you filming Road Kill? what's it going like?" she asks. "it's going good, my stunt double is a bit weird tho" i say. "why?" she asks. "she doesn't talk to me in English and writes down that she can't speak English, but when she talks to anyone else she speaks english" i say and Florence roles her eyes. "weirdo" she says, then we both laugh. "well i'll let you sleep then i'll ring you when it's the daytime for you" she says. "okay babe, miss you!" i say. "i miss you too!" she says. "love you bye" i say. "love you bye!" she says, then hangs up.

god i miss her...
