a/n i love Little Women and Amy is my favourite character in all the movies so i had to do this 🤍

y/n pov:
i'm on my way to the March household as i practically live there, the girls are all my best friends. and Amy is my girlfriend, but only the girls and Laurie (SORRY IF I SPELT THAT WRONG) know Amy and i are dating. we are both girls so we would be seen as a 'mistake to society' (I AM A LESBIAN AND I DO NOT THINK THAT ITS JUST WHAT THEY WOULD THINK IT THOSE TIMES) but we love each other very much.

i knocked on the door and Jo answered the door, "y/n/n!!" she wraps her arms around me. "Jo!" i say. Jo is probably the sister i am the closest to, just because we are both very 'energetic' you might say. "did i hear y/n?" someone inside says. "yes!!" Meg comes to the door, "hello y/n" she hugs me, then invited me inside. "where are Beth and Amy?" i ask sitting on the sofa. "Beth is out playing on her piano at your grandfather's and Amy is-" Jo gets cut off by someone running down the stairs. "y/n!!" i know that voice anywhere. "Amy!" i turn around to see Amy and i give her a kiss and Meg goes 'aww' and Jo just says "no need to swallow my sister y/n" we stop kissing. "piss off Joanne" we both stick our tongues out at each other then we all laugh.

"we haven't saw you in a while y/n" Jo says. "and by a 'while' you mean a week" someone in the corridor says. "LAURIE!" i run and jump into my brothers arms. "i've missed you" did i forget to mention Laurie is my older brother, but i go a girls only school in London so i don't see him unless i'm at home. "how have you been my dearest sister?" he asked and i got off him. "great! aside from um you know" i whispered the last part. "oh yeah, grandfather told me" he finished. "what is it?" Amy asked sitting beside me, her hand in mine. "well that's mainly why i'm here, to tell you all um" i kept stuttering. "are you okay?" Meg asked. "well, i'm going back to London" i say. "so soon?!" they all say. "you just got back!" Amy argues. "that's not all of the problem" i say. "go on" Jo says. "i'm there permanently for the next 2 years so i can get good scores on my grades to graduate into a midwife" i say getting quite at the end. "2 YEARS?!" Jo says. "NO NO PLEASE DONT GO" she shouts. Amy just stays quiet. "don't go y/n" Meg says. "please" Jo says. i look at Amy she is sat looking down, fiddling with her fingers. "babe?" i ask putting my hand on her shoulder. she looks up at me with tears in her eyes "if that's what you want to do, then go for it" she says then walks away. i look at both girls and Laurie in tears. "we'll miss you y/n" Meg says, then Jo runs up to me and hugs me. when she pulls away she says "we want you to peruse your dream"

*time skip*

it's the leaving day and we are all at the March's house. "bye y/n/n" Jo says hugging onto me about to cry. "hey Jo it's only 2 years, i'll be back" i say and then pull away. "definitely come back y/n" Beth says hugging me. "definitely" i confirmed then went to Meg. "goodbye y/n" she says. "bye Meg" i next go to my grandfather. "you will be an amazing midwife y/n" he says then hugs me. i then go to my brother Laurie. "i love you L" i say hugging him. "i love you y/n/n" he gives me a kiss on the head. then pulls out the hug and smiles at me with tears in his eyes. then last but definitely not least...

Amy. i look at Amy, then look at everyone else hunting to give us some privacy. they all leave the room and i look at Amy. "i will be back babe" i say giving her a kiss. "promise?" she asks. "i promise" i confirm. "i love you y/n" she says then gives me a long, passionate kiss "i love you Amy" "will you write to me y/n?" she asks. "of course, but if you want me to stay i definitely will, there's a great midwife program just a mile away!" i say. "no, you want to go, i will see you in 2 years my love" she kisses me again. "see you 2 years" i repeat then walk out the door.

Amy pov:
i am still staring at the door, then i turn around to see everyone staring at me. "what" i ask. "SHE WANTS TO STAY YOU IDIOT!" Jo says, earning a little slap from Meg for calling Amy an idiot. "really?" i ask again. "YES!" Beth says. "we must follow her!" Meg suggested. "yes! everyone get ready, i'll ring the carriage!" Laurie says.

"right Amy, she's there, this is your only chance" Jo says to me. Beth pushed me out the carriage and i ran over to y/n "y/n" she turned around "Amy?" she walked over to me. i went to y/n and kissed her. everyone around us just stared some looked discussed, but some looked proud. we stop kissing and i look at her. "don't go, please" i say. "okay" she says then kisses me again.
Jo opens the door of the carriage and shouts "THATS MY SISTER AND BEST FRIEND" and some people even start clapping.
