Early in the morning, I came across Adi by the kund. I was surprised because Adi isn't a morning kid.

"Surprised to see you at this hour," I told her. She was still half sleepy.

"I know. I'm surprised too." She answered. "Not that warm water helps in waking up."

I chuckled and threw some water over her face.

"Hey!!!" She complained.

"Stop sleeping here."

A water fight broke out. Both of us splashing water over each other. Scooping water in our palms and throwing it over the other. It was childish and silly but nothing had ever been more fun. Laughing all the way.

"Okay... okay..." We laughed after a moment and stopped.

Both of us took a dip in the water properly and then offered water to Surya dev. Saying the mantra, joining our hands in prayers to Surya dev.

After finishing our bath, both of us got ready for the day ahead.

Day One was horrendous for me. I hope Day Two would be better.

Once dressed and ready, we first reach the main temple. All the students had gathered there. The morning prayers are done. First, all of us offer prayers to Ganesha. Then they offer prayers to their parental deity and finally to their own personal deity.

I offered flowers and bel leaves over the Shivalinga. Then flowers over the idol of Goddess Shakti. Adi was doing her prayers before the idol of Narayan.

"Good morning." I saw a boy who looked almost the same age as us.

"Bhaiya..." Adi smiled at him. Two of them finished prayers before the idol of Narayan. She looked at me. "Bhaiya, this is Sona. Sona, this is my brother."

Thinking for a moment, I realized that he was God. Manikantha. That is the only child I knew of Narayan. The son of Hari-Hara. I joined my hands and greeted him.

He smiled back at me. I could almost tell the slight resemblance between him and Adi. They both had almost identical smiles. Enchanting in its way. The curly hair. The same eyes.

"Om namah shivaaya..." He offered water over the Shivalinga.

"I wanted to meet you yesterday itself but then I heard ..." I almost looked down, embarrassed, "But I'm glad that I am meeting you now. Kartikeya asked me to send you his regards. He hopes that you liked the dagger."

"I'm thankful," I answered. I wasn't sure what he thought of me after hearing about the whole mess.

"I should say this. The way you are, you remind me of Parvati maa. She's also really emotional. Protective of her brother. At first, she was also worried of turning into Kali, worrying that she would lose control and hurt innocent. She only agreed to the form of Kali once pitashree promised her that he would stop her when he sees it going out of control." He told me with a smile.
